David Eby's former finance minister slams him in interview.
Selina Robinson, who sat in cabinet under @Dave_Eby and John Horgan, says Eby is “not an easy premier to work with” and “likes to control things.” She says Horgan was “a delight to work with.” 🧵👇(1/5)

Eby went to Kelowna to play 'healthcare hero,' and media rightly called him out for it.
REPORTERS: I’m just wondering why this is being made as a campaign announcement today for a good year and both the province and Interior Health have denied it was a problem.
I would like you to elaborate a little bit more about the timing of the hospital expansion here. That sixth floor has been sitting empty for well over a decade. There have been calls to get it up and running for quite some time. What is your response to criticism about the optics not looking good here, that you are making this announcement just days before asking people to vote for your party?
Just one more quick question here with the announcement at KGH. How are you planning on staffing this new unit? We know there are shortages everywhere.
So what's your message to voters who are actually genuinely concerned that some of these pledges that would make a difference in their communities could end up as, you know, “broken promises”?

Desperate David Eby defends his campaign's sleazy attempts to mislead voters with partisan letters that try to look like they're coming from Elections BC. How low can he go?
Q: ...the envelope itself, there's no such indication and there's no other indication that it's from the NDP. It says election 2026. It says time sensitive open immediately… it's not hard to imagine that somebody would think it came from Elections BC or some kind of official entity and is not partisan. The only reference to the NDP is the small print on the bottom of the second page. Just wanted to get your reaction. Is that ethical? Is that appropriate? Do you have concerns with that? Or is that, you know, something that you support?
EBY: Well, we use a variety of tools to talk to British Columbians. Direct mailers, radio ads, internet ads, press conferences. It is hard to reach people on such important issues like the election.

Two Abbotsford seniors were duct-taped, beaten, and murdered in their own home. Arnold De Jong was 77. Joanne was 76.
The men who did it were convicted of first-degree murder. They planned it. They killed them so they wouldn't be identified, then went shopping with their stolen cheques and credit cards.
And the other day a B.C. judge decided the real problem is that the law is too harsh on THEM.
"Cruel and unusual." That's what the court called it, keeping multiple murderers from asking for early parole.
ENOUGH of a soft-on-crime system that puts murderers ahead of victims.
This Saturday, let's send a message.
A BC Supreme Court judge says a section of the Criminal Code restricting multiple murderers from applying for early parole is unconstitutional, resulting in delayed sentencing for 3 men in the killing of an Abbotsford couple. #bcpoli #cdnpoli fraservalleytoday.ca/2026/10…

Our hearts are with the De Jong family today. Arnold and Joanne were murdered in their own home in May 2022 by three home invaders, and their family lost years they should have had together. Now they’ve learned the men convicted of killing them may be eligible for early parole, after a BC Supreme Court judge struck down a 15-year-old law.
Victims and their families must come before the people convicted of harming them.
A Conservative Government would immediately appeal this grave injustice.

"You inherited a $6 billion surplus from the late John Horgan, and you've since spent more than $20 billion.
Despite all that, your critics would say affordability is no better, healthcare is no more accessible, and major transit projects are not yet finished.
Mr. Eby, please tell us, where did all that money go?"
A great question, without a great answer.
But we should trust the NDP to do better this time?
BC, it's time for change. Get out and vote.

A statement by ICBA Chief Economist Jock Finlayson on the 2026 Conservative Party of B.C. platform and costing:
"The costed Conservative platform looks reasonable. It is a balanced plan, recognizing that there is much that affects the B.C. economy which is beyond the government’s control.
"The Conservatives intend to take a gradualist approach to deficit reduction, which makes sense given the depth of the fiscal hole Premier Eby has dug and the fragile state of the economy. An important element of fiscal strategy under a new government will be kick-starting the private sector, which has been languishing over the past several years while the broad public sector has continued to expand. The private sector accounts for at least three quarters of all economic activity – including employment – in British Columbia; it also provides the exports and drives the innovation on which living standards partly depend. Under the NDP, the priority has been increasing the size and reach of the public sector, even as large parts of the business community have been struggling or in outright decline.
"A healthier business climate and a stronger private sector economy will help to address B.C.’s difficult fiscal situation by bolstering economic growth and expanding the tax base."

The Conservative Party of BC stands for a strong and united Canada. Always.
David Eby questioning my patriotism is shameful. Invoking soldiers we lost this weekend in an attempt to save his own job is beyond the pale.
This is a desperate distraction from his record.
While David Eby once again tries to divide British Columbians, we are focussed on uniting to get BC back on track.
