Cronos v1.8 goes live on mainnet tomorrow, 22 Oct 2026. Node operators, please have the official v1.8 binary ready. We will post an update here once the upgrade is complete.

Both tokenomics proposals have passed. 228,000,000 CRO has been burned from the community pool, bringing the total to 428,000,000 CRO. 100% of Ult and Cronos Launch revenue will now buy CRO on the open market and burn it monthly, with every transaction hash published.
