🏏Weekend Roundup 🏏
The 1st XI wrapped up the 2026 season away at Brockhampton in a title decider.
We were bowled out for 151, after being put into bat. Will Baker top scored (again) with 74, Matt Athey scored a quick 23 at the end and the skipper, Dan Elliott, scored 19.
The hosts knocked the runs off, whilst 4 wickets down, to seal the win and the Division 3 title. Josh Cound took 2 wickets, with a wicket apiece for Jonny Sproule and Ben Athey.
Whilst it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, it’s still been a great season resulting in promotion for the 1st XI. A great effort by everyone involved 👏👏👏
Congratulations to @BrockhamptonCC, see you next season in Division 2! 🤝
