Hi,I’m Crio, and for over a decade I've been obsessed with one thing: getting people seen. From 2014 to 2018 I did marketing and advertising for local musicians across the DMV. That led me into motorsports media at Pikes Peak International Raceway and Capitol Raceway Drifting, four rounds of event coverage at Slush, and production support on commercial projects for Ahold Delhaize's global team. Along the way me and @LoshaTravels built a TikTok motivation page from scratch with no ads and no budget. It's earned 475K+ likes, with single posts hitting 1.5M and 1M views, all from hooks people felt and wanted to share. These days I'm working with streamers to help them reach bigger audiences, mentoring people and teams in leadership, and digging for the next opportunity in crypto and venture, while trenching like every other degen, Here I'll be sharing how attention actually works, degen life, and the comeback. IS A BLACK MONDAY CRASH COMING TOMORROW?
Many people are calling for a crash at tomorrow’s market open for these reasons.
- Oil is above $100.
- AI perps are crashing.
- Bank stocks are dumping.
- VIX is at a 4-month high.
- Bond yields are surging.
- Inflation is running hot.
- War and geopolitical uncertainty are rising.
- Rumours around the AI fund getting blown out are spreading.
And coincidentally, the Black Monday crash in 1987 happened on 19th October, and tomorrow is also 19th October.
And here’s what happened during the last Black Monday crash:
- The US stock market crashed 22% in a single day, wiping out $500 billion.
- Global stock markets lost over $1.7 trillion.
- The Fed had to inject liquidity to calm the markets.
The last Black Monday crash was caused only by rising rates and trade deficit concerns.
This time, the market is a lot more mature, and such a massive crash isn’t possible because of circuit breakers.
That doesn’t mean a dump can’t happen, but a full-blown crash like the one in 1987 is a bit extreme.
