Fan of cricket rather than a team. Like teams to play fair & not resort to ugly behaviour on the field. Sledging shud be humour not personal attacks & malice.

A pitch in sunny June 2025 and a rainy/cloudy September 2026 are two very different things! I live in edgbaston and attended last years test. Sadly couldnt go this year due to work commitments.

Went to the Salvadore Dali museum today. Who knew it’d be only the second most surreal thing I saw today.

#EngvInd Are big scores in T20 back in fashion and not boring anymore? They must be… now that Eng is likely to be roaring towards 250 at the rose bowl. @SkyCricket @bbctms

Jarrod and Joy both right on the money here, though I would say Bish is far from the worst offender here, and giving credit on comms is indeed hard to do. All too often see big print journalists, podcasters, vloggers appropriate work without credit, which is way less excusable.

Always felt very deeply about acknowledging the distinction between those running Indian cricket & the millions who derive pure joy from seeing their Indian team win #T20WorldCup

Crawley Ashes so far 120 runs after four attempts. Avg 30. He has performed to what his pre-Ashes stats would predict. #Ashes

#ENGvIND 2-2 is a fair result. Eng (& fans) won’t view it that way due to: - Home series for Eng - 5 tosses won - new Ind captain in Gill - new look Ind batting without Rohit & Kohli -Bumrah not fully fit & Pant missed a test too. “Bazball with brains” should have continued.

#ENGvIND One player has gone unnoticed in the shenanigans at the end of Old Trafford test. Root was not seen or heard making any crass comments. He bowled as he normally would at the end & behaved impeccably. Absolute class! 👏#Livinglegend @SkyCricket @bbctms @Cricket_TS

#ENGvIND the many apologists for the Eng team in cricket media are strangely silent on the Oval groundsman vs GG bust up. No snide internal jokes being exchanged publicly on X like usual. Looks as though they know something that puts the groundsman in a bad light….

And everyone lost their minds over it...
On July 29th 1986 Dennis Amiss scored his 100th hundred. Lancashire skipper Clive Lloyd agreed to Amiss' request to an extra half hour in a dead game so he could reach the landmark, Lloyd further helping by bringing on part-time bowlers (Ken Kelly)

Very lucky indeed that we didn't all spend the previous two days hailing individual milestones and achievements, or this might sound like a right salty load of #rATTled guff.
"This is a bit of a farcical end to what's been a brilliant Test match. The game is more important than individuals." Were India right not to choose to shake hands and end the game? #BBCCricket #ENGvIND

Would suggest to check adjective count when you analyse other players! (yes, Cricket is a team sport!). There is so much that you have imagined what Stokes’ dad would have thought about his achievements. Would be fine if you had gleaned that from meeting Ged Stokes.
