Mumbai has been under a blanket of SMOG. The AQI, absolutely terrible. Apart from the fact that El Niño has taken 265 talukas in Maharashtra to a drought, and soon our cities too. Water management from last year’s flood- answers on water tables, jalyukt shivar scheme etc, are non existent. Sadly, none from the regime has spoken on it. The regime is busy giving tree cutting permissions, snatching away playgrounds and open spaces in cities, and hacking down mangroves in the name of "development". The max they can do, is have a contractor come and measure AQI for us- with an absurd amount of taxpayer money being paid to do!
