Finally found time to edit some clips from last weekendβs training session in San Diego π¬βοΈ. Hot and humid π₯΅, but a lot of fun πͺ. The only downside was the drive in β traffic was brutal ππ€.
Great training day in San Diego. Now Iβm sitting at a Padres pizza bar watching the Oklahoma City Comets win the Triple-A Championship.
Hate to say it, but no Dodgers for me tonightπ€. Work won this one.
Glad I sold the tickets last minute so they didnβt go to waste. Bummed, but thatβs the way the cookie crumbles.π₯Ή
Until next year.β‘οΈβΎοΈβ‘οΈ@Dodgers
Dodger Stadium is PACKED tonight π₯ποΈ
There look to be more people here for this promo night than there were for the Shohei Ohtani Ring giveaway. I guess Clayton Kershaw deserves the honor after all β 18 years in Dodger Blue will do that. ππ€
In my opinion, the Padres need a whoop-ass. Thatβs why everyone and their mom in Los Angeles is here tonight. πβΎ @Dodgers @Padres #claytonkershaw
For once, I made it to my destination in Los Angeles on time. πβ°π
This time, it was the Got Sole event at the Los Angeles Convention Center in DTLA. πβ¨ The venue was split into two main areas: one for trading cards and sports memorabilia ππ, and the other for fashion and urban wear. ππ
On the card side, there were plenty of deals β especially on unopened boxes and singles bins. π¦π I only spotted a couple of $1 and $2 bins; most started at $5 and up. Still, I found some really good cards in those lower-priced bins. πβ¨ I can only imagine what was sitting in the $20 bins. ππ°
The hobbyβs heavy hitters were also on hand, from Goldin Auctions to TAG and Legendsβ Attic. ππ
Anyway, I came, found what I was looking for, and $200 later I was on my way out. πΈποΈ Great vibe and some really solid deals. π₯π
Next time, I may take the Metro. π Parking is too expensive and hard to find β especially after 10:30 a.m. π

So I did my best to wake up on time this morning and make it to Dodger Stadium for The LA Card Show. ποΈ Of course, LA traffic had other plans. π I arrived around 11 a.m.βtwo hours after the show opened.
I walked as quickly as I could to the Beckett booth and ended up spending four hours there that I will not get back. I completed my submission and, just like that, dropped $600. πΈ By the time I left the booth, the show was practically over.
Luckily, Dodger Stadium has some of the best hot dogs in town. π After two dogs, two beers, and another $60, I felt a little better. πΊ I then made my way down to the baseball field, walked around for a while, and spent some time thinking about this hobby of mine. Is it really worth it? π€ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ #Lacardshow #LACS #Dodgers @CardPurchaser @beckettcollect
Yesterday was a great day at the beach πβοΈ
Solid-size surf and barely anyone out at the spot I ended up at. Of course I paddled into one of the sketchiest spots to get in and out ofβ¦ but it was so worth it π€
Even if it cost the life of one of my boards π₯²RIP
Wrapped the session at Carneyβs with some friends after a long day in the water. Perfect.
Dead tired π΄ after a sleepless night and a long day at work, but I still made it to the stadium on time ποΈ and snagged one of those Shohei Ohtani replica rings π. They were flying off the shelves π¨βsomehow I managed to score one before they ran out! π₯
I took my 2003 Topps Chrome Dave Roberts #05/499 to get signed, and my marker decided to disappoint me at the last minute. Oh well, whatβs done is done!!! No more gold markers for me. They sometimes backfire at the worst possible moment. I had tested the marker a few times before getting to the table, but the stupid thing decided not to work once it was in Doc Robertsβ hands. The autograph looks weak and hard to read. Iβm glad Doc still tried his best even though he was short on timeβtodayβs game got moved up, so he had to get from the Valley to Dodger Stadium. And the whole world knows how famous we are in LA for our horrific traffic. #Dodgers #DaveRoberts @Dodgers @Topps @CardPurchaser
The @Dodgers extend their win streak to 4 games with a walk-off in extras!

What a game last night! My phone took a dive into my beer and I missed Tommy Edmanβs home run from the start. Oh wellβ¦ still a solid day!
Finally got back the two cards I sent to a private signing!
β’ Alex Vesia (Dodgers LHP): 2025 Topps Update #US239 parallel, numbered 01/25
β’ Justin Wrobleski (Dodgers LHP): 2025 Topps 1990 Topps Baseball Relic (#90R2-JWR) Gold parallel, numbered 28/50
Both came back with beautiful signatures. Love these additions to the PC! π₯ #Dodgers #Topps #SportCards @Topps @CardPurchaser
Crushed 6 hours at the bike park yesterday with nothing but leg power β no lifts, no electric, no help. Worth every bit of the pain, Iβm feeling today. Got home at midnight and passed out on the floor before I could even reach the bed π΄π΅ββοΈ @SantasVillageCA #MTB #moutainbike

SOMEONE INVESTIGATE THIS MAN! After Florian Balogun got a red card last night, the Americans started looking into the ref that gave him the card.
And we found that Rafael Claus here has some skeletons in his closet π
Like all good things, it had to come to an end ποΈ
My first time mountain biking at Mammoth Mountain was an absolute blast! Even though not all trails were open and the wind was howling, the trip was a huge success. Pure excitement, epic views, and plenty of lessons learned the hard way.
These trails donβt just challenge your skills β they completely rewire how you think about mountain biking. Canβt wait to get back! π΅ββοΈπ¨
