The problem is that the narrative treats Valentino as a villain Angel needs to escape from and Stolitz as the endgame romance we're supposed to root for. So they frame Angel's contract as sexual abuse and Blitzø's contract as something that slightly inconveniences him

forcing someone to maintain sexual relations because of a "deal" you can't refuse is SEXUAL ABUSE. However, fans only seem to recognize it when it is Angel and Val, not when it's Blitzo and Stolas. Perhaps because Angel is a bottom and a more 'perfect' victim.
