2024! happened to my career? I lost not just my account but my identity. X blacklisted Cthumbs, suspended me countless times, and even suspended my agency account. I tried coming back over and over again, but every time, all 10 times, I got suspended. This made me go back to the drawing board after staying away from X for three months. I came back in March 2025! I went back to the drawing board to ask myself, “If I come back to Twitter and still get kicked out, is this how I’ll keep rebuilding over and over again?” Then I chose to leave my shell and intentionally build publicly across all socials! Trust me, it wasn’t easy. I experienced so much burnout and self-doubt, but I had just one goal: I want to be relevant outside platforms, and I want the world to see the potential I have outside of pixels. One year down the line, and I must really say this is a win for my career! That girl who has loved design passionately, started off on YouTube and with a midnight subscription, has not only built a life but has also become an inspiration to many! From recognition in groups to websites, Medium, awards, and Oloba on the main stage of UDC! Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak to great minds. Thank you, @untitledsgnrs , for having me! I spoke on “YOUR JUDGMENT IS YOUR OUTCOME!” As a designer who is scared of AI or feels irrelevant because of machines, I gave a mindset-shifting speech and opened creatives’ minds to see how relevant they are. It was such a great moment, and I was glad to see my friends. The part that got me was the fact that people actually know me😭😌😌. I’m glad I connected with great minds. And to any creative reading this, this is your sign to keep showing up! From the UDC stage to the UN! Amen 🤲🏻
