We are planning another event before the end of year. Meanwhile you can take a look at the website for an overview of what was discussed at the first event. creativecodereview.ca/#event… Get in touch either here or on the website to get more info and join the next event. 👋
The first event is in the bag!! Although 'event' is a little grandiose for what we had but it was great nonetheless. A big thank-you to @andor_saga for joining in to help us work out the kinks. #CodeReview #creativecoding

August 2021 will be 20th Anniversary of the first release of Processing. How should the community celebrate? What should we do?

Another great thread about showing how things work behind the scenes. Again, this kind of sharing really helps demystify the process.
As the question comes up regularly, here is a thread about the tools I'm using to create my loops. All are published on @observablehq 🖤, using only #JavaScript and #GLSL. Let's start with the first one 🛠⬇️

Quick update: We are moving the date to Thursday Nov 5th, 8-9P (EST). This change will enable more people to be able to participate. We have a few spots left!! If you're curious to learn more, get in touch either here or at creativecodereview.ca
This is great. Thank you! The more we can share and be able to see behind the curtains of how work is made helps demystify the process. Looking forward to following the journey!!
Hi folks! We are starting something new: a project developed in the open here on Twitter. We call it Work/Space and will share everything from concept sketches and moodboards, through data viz, to prototypes and final renders. Why?

And now we have a website up and running at CreativeCodeReview.ca We're all about cheering the small victories here. 🎉🍾 Next up is a GitHub group to host the projects we'll be reviewing. #creativeCode #p5js #processing #openframeworks #D3 #unity3d #threeJS #python
Well now, look at that! It is October already and we CLEARLY did not hit our goal of running our first review during July! 😳 Oh well, let's chalk it up to being 2020 and start moving onwards and upwards. Our new plan is to run a session on Wednesday Nov 4th from 8-9pm (EST).

Does this sound of interest to you?? We are going to run our first Creative Code Review during July so please let me know and we’ll figure out a format that accommodates as many people as we can. #CreativeCodingReview, #CreativeCode

You do not need to be an expert to participate but we’re also not going to be teaching programming 101. If you’re not sure about participating then definitely join in and see what you think. The more (and more diverse) the merrier. #CreativeCodingReview, #CreativeCode

Who can participate? Anyone with practical experience writing code is welcome. Personal projects you’ve worked on yourself count. The goal here is to contribute and learn in a supportive collaborative environment. #CreativeCodingReview, #CreativeCode

Coding by its very nature is creative so the term ‘creative coding’ may seems redundant. We are using the term to describe any type of coding where the process and output is meant to be personally expressive and not driven by business logic. #CreativeCodingReview, #CreativeCode

The goals of our code reviews are to be open, inclusive, supportive, constructive and informal. An ideal outcome from participating will be that you learn something, have a greater sense of community and hopefully get that great feeling of having helping someone! #CreativeCode
