Our 5th grade @HTS_Dolphins rocked out their thinking routine in the studio classifying what artists do & where in our community! @MrsMazepa @cristinstrain @TKinneycissna I remember a similar opener when they were in 3rd grade- we have come so far! Exciting things are coming!
Wrapping up week 1 with our @HTS_Dolphins 4th and 6th graders! I can’t wait to see/hear their conversations on what and who constitutes art and an artist - as we dive deeper into a TAB based studio experience (teaching for artistic behavior)
We can’t wait for full day schedule to introduce our youngest and newest @HTS_Dolphins dolphins to the Studio! Read aloud “Art Today” then brainstormed what artists do, and of course freedom of expression as paint was of course their first request! @DMSEF8
Fun in First! We all love the giant crayons from @Crayola Our @HTS_Dolphins have to be extra determined because it takes whole body focus! I loved learning about all the things they are passionate about!
adding the final touches to our K-3 studio in preparation for the first day for our @HTS_Dolphins don’t forget to stay kind- to one another and yourself! It starts internally and with a #GrowthMindset and #Empathy can change the world around!
While we prep #back2school I’m thrilled to see our @HTS_Dolphins family! I haven’t seen some of those staff smiles for 18 months! Just don’t forget to give yourself the same kindness & grace you all show to others! @Crayola
