Your week, in three records. Pick what is on repeat, what you rediscovered, and one wildcard. Make your Top 3 in Crate Journal, then send it to a friend whose taste you trust. app.cratejournal.com

Your Top 3 this week can be completely different next week. An all-time ranking is a big decision. A current rotation is a snapshot.

A useful note for a used record: what you heard, and on which setup. 'Light crackle before track 1' will tell future you more than 'sounds good.'

The record you nearly left in the shop, then went back for. Which one was it?

Next time you're in a record shop, ask what the staff has been playing, not just what's new. One honest answer can send you somewhere a bestseller list won't.

Your records have stories. Give them a home. Crate Journal is open: organize your collection, keep the notes that matter, and share your Top 3. Start with one record. app.cratejournal.com

The pressing and condition help you identify a record. A note about where you found it helps you remember why you kept it. A collection deserves room for both.

A useful collecting ritual: put one record you know by heart beside one you barely remember buying. Play them back to back. You might hear both differently.

Record shops: we're building a place for your picks, too. The idea is simple: introduce your shop, feature a few records, and send collectors straight to those records on your own website. Join the waitlist as a shop. cratejournal.com/?utm_source…

A good collection doesn't have to fill a wall. A few records you know by heart, a couple you're still getting into, and room for whatever finds you next. That's a collection worth keeping.

Some of the best recommendations start with a look through someone else's records. That's the kind of discovery we want for Crate Journal: collections to explore and stories to read, without likes, comments, or an endless feed. cratejournal.com/?utm_source…

A useful crate to make: "Play again." Pick five records you already own but haven't heard in a while. Set them somewhere visible. Sometimes the next great discovery is already in your collection.
10
The shop you found it in. The person who gave it to you. The song that made you buy the whole album. Those details belong with the record. We're building a place to keep them. cratejournal.com/?utm_source…

Same album, different copy. When cataloging duplicates, note the pressing, condition, and where each one came from. That bargain-bin copy and the birthday gift might share a tracklist, but they have different stories.
