Taking down corrupt Krasner is the first of many Soros-related dominos that need to fall.
BREAKING: DOJ sends grand jury subpoenas to Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner after federal judge referred him for possible criminal investigation noting allegations of perjury and obstruction of justice, sources tell Fox News

I regret to inform you they are doing the “mostly peaceful” thing again.
CCTV footage from Nice, France shows the moment a mob of looters broke into a phone case store over the weekend, destroying displays and stealing merchandise. The incident comes after largely peaceful anti-government protests in many cities across France descended into riots, with damage to historic properties and thousands of arrests.

Isn’t it great that normalizing wearing useless masks in a completely failed attempt to stop COVID has had absolutely no long lasting negative consequences?

Honestly, I hope California does it. The object lesson will be invaluable and it’s hard to think of a state more deserving of it.
California's Billionaire Tax Act would collect roughly $30 billion. Accounting for lost income taxes from departures, the mean Net Present Value is negative $39 billion, from Benjamin Jaros and Joshua Rauh nber.org/papers/w35899

They ran six cases against Trump, plus two impeachments, all of them some flavor of nonsense. If there were a real case against Trump, they would have prosecuted it.
An honest man of my acquaintance was recently accusing Trump, of all people, of corruption. Not the Democrats, not the establishment GOP, but Trump. I did not have the heart to attempt to dissuade him of this absurd idea. When a man is demoralized he is unable to distinguish friend from foe, threat from aid. And this particular honest man honestly could not tell an honest man from a crook. Even a skeptic should see why they're a good reasons to assume that Trump is not corrupt. The establishment would have given him a zillion dollars not to run a second time. Or, once in office, all he had to do was play along with the establishment, with the money laundering scheme of the Ukraine war, and he too could have dipped into the slush fund of the USAID. No honest man really thinks Trump, one of the caniest businessmen in history, could not make as much money through graft as Nancy Pelosi with her insider trading or Ilhan Omar with her fraud and kickbacks. Even Joe Biden in his senility, and he was never that bright to begin with, was able to net millions of dollars from China and Ukraine merely by pedaling influence. The Clintons did so through their comically fake and transparent charity fund. And Hunter Biden did so through his even more comically fake and even more obviously transparent sale of modern art. If this is what idiots who never worked a day in their life can do to open the floodgates of speculation, a cunning real estate speculator could most obviously do much more and much more subtly. No man takes a bullet rather than a bribe if he is crooked, much less stands up and urges the crowd to courage and to fight onward. Trump is the only politician in history who took a pay cut to serve in the White House. And, finally, if he had been corrupt in any slightest way over any smallest thing the Democrat a party and the Press would not have gone to the trouble of inventing completely fictitious and patently ridiculous crimes to accuse him of, such as meddling with business records, or overvaluing the estimated cost of a building put up as collateral, or attempted to illegalize appointing alternate electors, or attempted to impeach him over carrying out at treaty obligation he had with Ukraine to investigate international corruption. And they certainly would not have had to resort to bring him up on RICO charges without charging him with an underlying crime. That doesn't make any sense in law or logic You can't conspire to commit a crime without a crime you are conspiring to commit. If Trump had done something wrong, or something impeachable, they wouldn't have needed to fake up January 6th, and investigate him for the so-called crime of telling people to peaceably disperse. No one shoots blanks when they have ammo. No one takes a bullet when he could have taken a bribe.

How come nobody is asking Dr. Oz to renounce the Muslim Brotherhood?

What’s particularly funny about this is Bari Weiss is a solid liberal. She just happens to be honest, and they can’t abide it.
To put my own cards on the table, I really do think the actual story of CBS News is just that a lot of liberals work there who can't stand even the thought of working for Bari Weiss. It's not even really about the coverage (again, Bari approves a lot of liberal-coded stories).

This reminds me of the meltdown that CBS staffers had a few years ago when Tony Dukoupil pressed Ta-Nehisi Coates over his portrayal of Israel in his book. The staffers allegedly cried in the meeting after and accused Dukoupil of pushing pro-Israel propaganda. Do these people really think they are not advancing their own propaganda?

Also it’s incredibly dystopian for the government to protect its own buildings while abandoning private citizens and also saying those private citizens can’t defend their own property. No one’s life or livelihood or emotional well being was ruined because a government building had its windows broken. Can’t imagine the devastation for someone who worked their whole adult life building their business coming in and seeing it ransacked and destroyed.

My position on lethal force in the looting context is that unless the government (i.e. taxpayers) want to step in and say they are going to cover all damages and losses, then it should absolutely be legal to use lethal force to stop looting, at least for individual proprietors and such. When you destroy someone's shop or loot it, you are stealing all the time it took for them to build it, or the time and effort it will take to replace it. In extreme cases, you may have ruined them financially. It could be years of their life, just gone. That should absolutely be grounds for lethal force to prevent. Fuck looters.

Interesting. If you ask the question in a race-neutral way (“is it ok to want a doctor the same race as myself”) it gives an answer that is consistent with (albeit less enthusiastic than) the non-white answers. The “white doctor” answer is the true outlier.
I sure do love my "white privilege"

Last year, Leslie Stahl asked -- on air -- if an Israeli hostage held by Hamas was starved because Israel was withholding food to Gaza, even though it was very well-known a) Israel was sending in tons of food and b) Hamas was stealing and hoarding it. Dangerously ignorant.
🚨 Leslie Stahl of 60 Minutes says "There are very few non citizens that vote in elections, so what's the purpose?" There are thousands of ongoing cases of illegal alien voter fraud. It's also NEVER been investigated before until the Trump administration 2.0 because Democrats only win by cheating in elections. 60 minutes should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to employ such an airhead. Thankfully @HarmeetKDhillon shut her ridiculous inquiry down in epic fashion 👏🏼

"Declining" is the understatement of the century. It's the lowest they've ever been, and accelerating under the Trump Admin. And while I don't have strong opinions either way on "community violence intervention," it is hilarious they point to that while ignoring all their own consistent predictions of doom.
Homicides are declining across the US, and experts agree that community violence intervention programs are key contributors to this historic decline. We must build on this progress, not pull back resources from programs that make these wins possible. counciloncj.org/executive-su…

Americans have been trying to tell you Europeans for decades that disarming yourselves was idiotic - that personal weapons in the hands of civilians are actually a force for order and stability, precisely because they constrain criminals and rioters. The French police are overwhelmed. Because of course they are. Large-scale, decentralized threats to civil order have to be met with a large-scale, decentralized response - people defending their homes and businesses, using the threat and, if required, the actuality of lethal force. If the riots in France teach this lesson, at least some good will have come from them.
Once again, I think we have really crossed a line tonight and entered completely new territory, nothing of the sort has ever happened before. There are groups of hoodlums roaming the city and openly terrorizing people while in many places the cops are nowhere to be seen. The violence of yesterday was shocking, but it wasn't the first time we had seen far-left activists and gangs of hoodlums opportunistically join the protests to cause mayhem and loot. But I grew up in France and have been obsessively following French social and political events for more than 20 years and I have never seen anything like that. If you look at the tweet he is replying to, it's another video showing a similar group kicking in the door of a residential building to break in. It's Clockwork Orange stuff at this point.

seems bad to have roving mobs smashing / not smashing up businesses based on the religion of the proprietor
“Don’t smash it up, she’s a sister!” This shop manager protecting her business is spared by the thugs out of Muslim solidarity. Still absolutely no connection to immigration.

unfathomable damage done to America. You could have abundant, cheap, emission-free electricity flowing to your home right now if it weren't for these people.
Ralph Nader, 1997: “When we came out against nuclear power in the early '70s, the government had predicted that there would be 1,000 nuclear plants by the year 2000 in the United States, and there's 109 and shrinking, as more and more get shut down.” pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline…

You keep trying to ban legal carry in places of worship, even after we've seen *multiple* examples of attacks on them stopped by armed congregants. You urge passage of such laws even when your allies like the CA DOJ have conceded in court that those with carry permits are not a criminal threat. So whose side are you on, exactly? If your goal were to intentionally create vulnerable soft targets for killers, I'm not sure what you'd be doing differently.
A white supremacist’s attack on a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois was narrowly avoided last week when his rifle jammed. He was later arrested after sharing his plans to try again with coworkers. Houses of worship should be safe spaces for prayer and belonging, but far too often they’re targeted by armed extremists.

There is a very important side story to this Slotkin thing that no one is talking about. The Trump Administration needs to come out and reassure patriots who want to help their country that if they do so, and these evil Democrats come after them on spurious grounds, that the Trump Administration WILL HAVE THEIR BACKS, both in courts of law and the court of public opinion. The media is in bed with the Democrats on this--the media will smear anyone the Democrats point them at. If the Trump Administration does not make this public pronouncement, and then BACK IT UP, they will find ordinary Americans unwilling to help them. Ordinary Americans have seen the life-destroying lawfare against Trump supporters in the past, and that lawfare has been tremendously effective. In the face of such lawfare and the smears the media will gleefully engage in, too many Americans make the rational choice to not help. The Trump Admin needs to very publicly and very strongly announce that it has the backs of Americans who raise their right hand.
ON UCHICAGO CAMPUS: U.S. Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin hopes planned political prosecutions of republican leaders will scare young conservatives from getting involved in politics. @ElissaSlotkin

And miraculously, the mob did not move on to the Louvre. Im not saying they should be out there mowing down all the protestors necessarily, the point is more that the State has actual power to stop much of this if and when they have the balls to do so. The ancient laws of power may as well be laws of physics, they are timeless and wont ever change. All thats required is the will to enforce them and the thugs will fall in line. The language of power is the only thing thugs understand.
French police warned protesters: "If you approach the Louvre Museum in Paris, we will open fire!"
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
French police issued no such warning to open fire near the Louvre. Coverage of the Oct 17-19 protests details non-lethal crowd control like tear gas amid clashes and a small peaceful student blockade of the museum. thelocal.fr/20261019/prote… lemonde.fr/societe/live/2… leparisien.fr/societe/direct…
