What venomous ignorance. Over the years, Israel has agreed to every single proposal for a "state of Palestine" against its own security interests. For two decades, its southern citizens were forced in effect to live in shelters under bombardment by tens of thousands of missiles from Gaza, with Israel only going to war there when the onslaught became intolerable. This smear that Israel is wantonly aggressive against a genocidal enemy intent on wiping it off the map reinforces deep fears that Vance is no defender of civilisation.
