Murdered by an Islamist you absolute cunt.
Five years ago today, Sir David Amess was killed while serving the people of Southend West.
I knew David as a kind, tireless colleague who dedicated his life to public service. His death was a terrible reminder of the risks faced by those in public life, and of our responsibility to ensure that everyone can serve their communities without fear.
Today, we remember David’s extraordinary commitment to the people he represented, and the lasting loss felt by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Looks like the fucking Rovers Return.
There's a toxic narrative about all women being raped who are on these displacement boats but that doesn't seem to bother any of you.
It certainly won't bother a fucking multi-millionaire actress who wouldn't know what a pint of milk costs.
"There's a toxic narrative around displacement which has been politicised"
Cate Blanchett, a co-founder of the ‘Displacement Film Fund’, speaks to #Newsnight about attitudes towards refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

If people are looking for cheaper fuel they ain't taking a Jerry Can onto a bus are they you fucking dipshit.
Replying to @JamesMelville
I know this isn’t a silver bullet. It might help some people find cheaper fuel, but it doesn’t mean that’s all we’re doing to help people with the cost of living.
We’re cutting VAT on electricity bills. Capping bus fares at £2 in England. Giving disabled people 24/7 free bus travel. Making it easier to cancel subscriptions. Cutting business rates for pubs, clubs and music venues. Stopping schools from demanding endless expensive branded uniforms. Ensuring if your train is cancelled, you can use your ticket on other operators free of charge. Fuel duty is staying frozen to the end of the year.
Yes, on their own, I accept that these things don’t seem like much when people’s lives have gotten harder. There’s a lot still to do.
But I won’t shy away from the big issues either. It’s why I made announcements last week on more public control of water, energy, and housing, to make the basics better for people long-term.
Together, these changes add up, and no matter how small it may seem, I will pull every single lever I can to help people, whenever I can.
So saving 80p a week and spending a quid travelling to the garage.
You are all trolling retards.
If it all came out of your own pockets you'd see it differently but you don't because you rob the taxpayer of every last fucking penny.
Tackling affordability is one of the top priorities of this government.
We're making it easier for families with a car to save an average of £40 a year by working with @googlemaps to show real-time prices at the pump.
There's also the other side of the coin where these players could play for an African country or Caribbean country whereas the English couldn't.
Replying to @timdavies_uk
No, we’re not talking about ethnicity and heritage Tim, that’s the point.
There’s a reason why they don’t play for Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
I said all of this a couple of years back.
