If they could, I’d be for selecting that other aircraft.”
The RCAF planned the first tranche of the new tactical aviation set for SOF—these 16 Black Hawks. “There is risk in delaying that decision”
On the broader impact of prolonged delays (including F-35s): “If we continue to fly the F-18s much beyond their capability… the NORAD commander will select American fighters to police both Canadian and American airspace.”
