More than 50 sloths died in Florida. Their suffering was preventable, and their deaths demand action.
Today, on International Sloth Day, I am introducing the bipartisan SLOTHS Act alongside @RepMaxwellFrost to ban the importation of wild-caught sloths into the United States and strengthen protections for these vulnerable animals.
We have a responsibility to ensure that tragedies like this are never repeated.

It should now be clear that Elizondo was supposed to be the counterintel lead protecting the retrieved UAP that Lockheed/Ryder wanted to transfer to AAWSAP.
But CIA DS&T’s Gaffney (allegedly) blocked the transfer.
No UAP transfer or SAP status for AAWSAP = no Elizondo on AAWSAP
Given their breeding difficulties are they the same species. BTW this shows how short the factory farm Era has been @pferal @GoodFoodScience
The future of pet food isn’t shaped on the surface, but deep in the substance. 🐾
Our team just returned from IPC 2026 in Copenhagen! 🇩🇰 We didn't go there just to network, we went to dive deep into the hard, no-mercy realities of the market with other pet food strategists.

60 million. 🕊️🐺🦊💔
That’s how many animals USDA Wildlife Services has killed since 2004, paid for with taxpayer dollars.
Wolves. Coyotes. Bears. Foxes. Raccoons. Birds. Even cats and dogs. Shot from helicopters, stuck to glue traps, and poisoned with cyanide devices, largely on behalf of Big Ag.
And it’s getting worse. In 2025 alone, the program killed 2,833,285 animals, more than 900,000 more than the year before. 😤
This is a publicly funded program, which means the public has the power to change it. Tell Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins to stop using taxpayer funding to kill animals and invest in coexistence instead. 🗳️

Here's the first comprehensive study evaluating the consumption of #cultivatedmeat in vivo. The study evaluated mice fed diets with high & low cultivated biomass (produced by Chinese startup Joes Future Food), compared to conventional pork and controls (saline). Although there are some nutritional differences between cultivated & conventional meat, there were no adverse safety effects observed on the health of the animals, measured by their body weight, multi-organ health, blood serum, and microbiome.
Regardless of whether you think animal feeding trials are needed or not to establish the safety of cultivated meat, there are going to be people (& some regulators) who demand them. So it's great to see this body of evidence being built openly in the public literature.
