Interesting article in the Guardian about the potential harm of therapy. (Slight blurring psychologist / psychotherapist and whether psychologists can diagnose, but still). They’re asking for stories of therapy that’s gone badly at the end… theguardian.com/society/2024…

It was good to meet with local residents today from Kensington Rd to look at what we can do to make their road and other streets in #Chorlton safer, more pleasant spaces for all.
Lots of ideas and there’s lots we all agreed we’d like to see happen and will be proposing to MCC but options are limited when our Council is left cash strapped.
One zero cost, immediate action we can all take is to not park on pavements. Not only does this make our pavements safer and more accessible for people, but can also help to slow down traffic on residential roads and cut through traffic. #Pavementsforpeople #SaferStreets – at Manchester, England
I’m not sure this will reach London based dads, but just in case…

I stand with legal colleagues, from my 15 years as a public law & human rights lawyer, in calling on the UK government to press for ceasefire in Gaza & to uphold international law.
A recent poll suggested 76% of British citizens also want a ceasefire. theguardian.com/world/2023/o…

Some #mindful #stitching this morning in a quiet(er) moment. I’ve been talking with people recently about the benefits of #crafting #together with personal, psychological and political benefits. Whilst stitching I was reflecting on #actsofliving.
