Checkout #5! Academics matter. Get familiar with the NCAA initial-eligibility requirements so coaches know you are serious about playing in college: on.ncaa.com/1E1iaCt xitter.cf/usatodayhss/status/102…

Treat your college recruiting process as one long job interview. Try to avoid these things that can bother college coaches. (via @GetPlayced) usat.ly/2mHXxMB

You know the pro athlete you’re heckling on Twitter? He’s probably pitched or been hot in the ‘pen 7 straight days. Something likely hurts. Good chance he had a red-eye flight & only slept 2hrs last night. May not have seen wife/kids for wks. So settle down & just watch the game.

Top 3 questions college coaches ask about players: 1. What are his grades/test scores? 2. What kind of kid is he (character)? 3. Tell me about his parents. If any of these are red flags, good chance they move on to the next guy on the list.

The Dodgers lost a game last night because a pitcher didn’t back up a throw. Backing up is a tiny detail that few ever notice- until there’s a mishap. If you assume every ball will get by, you’ll always be in position backing up. It may just save a game.

Great visual of beating the ball to the location and working outside the ball back towards the plate with his shoulder movement. Notice the glove starting point on the white chalk and then the separation of the same white chalk just before receiving. Working outside in subtlety.
