Oh Lord. It’s going to be another day of misinformed hot takes.
Newsflash #1: life still means life.
Newsflash #2: a dangerous serial killer is never going to be granted parole. Ever.
The SCC finds unconstitutional the section of the Criminal Code that permits consecutive parole ineligibility periods of 25 years in cases involving multiple first degree murders. Read our plain-language summary here: scc-csc.ca/case-dossier/cb/2… #criminallaw #Charter
Another great review for one of our 🌟amazing 🌟 freelance litigators:
Do you have a #trial that you need assistance with? We have a network of experienced #freelancelawyers who can jump in and assist with trial preparation and appearances across Canada. Here’s how one of our freelance lawyers, Paulina, recently assisted with a class action trial…
It's an outdoor office kind of day today.

Vacationing should not be more difficult for solos and #small-firm #lawyers. If you are deprived of some well-deserved time off, reach out to us today to learn how a #freelance #lawyer can help take the work off your shoulders and give you more time.
I worked for a year as a bank teller after high school and before university (I needed to make $ to actually pay for university) & that experience was invaluable.
Working alongside adults with mortgages & kids & stress taught 18 yr old me a LOT about the real world.
I had a fun time chatting with Piper and Erin for their Off the Tracks podcast.
I never know where these conversations are going to go & this one included everything from entrepreneurial lessons to small town fashion show fails😳
Thanks for inviting me on!
