Coursebox.ai

Great 2025 for @Coursebox_ai While the graph looks pretty, the truth is it's been an uphill battle lasting over a decade. Coursebox first launched as a different product and struggled to scale several years ago. There were many moments were it was tempting to pull the plug. I poured my savings into the business, worked evenings & weekends (which means saying no to things like hanging out with friends). We also made the conscious decision to take VC money which has been great for us to accelerate hiring A players in the team which has made a world of difference. While I now own less of the company, and there's a greater admin burden, taking VC money reduced our risk and aligned with our big ambitious vision to win in a highly competitive market. Organic marketing (particularly SEO) continues to generate heaps of sign ups and sales but churn is really killing our growth so 2026 is all about wowing our customers and building a strong high retention product to drive sustainable growth

3 years ago I messaged some random dude on the internet to explore starting a business together. Since, we've launched @Coursebox_ai & grew to +1,000 paying subs from +100 countries. Thanks to @ycombinator for making this 1st message happen with cofounder matching

The result after making our 1st step to improve conversions with our product which was making 3 steps in the process optional instead of mandatory. Many other things on the list like more optional steps, google sso, bigger wow factor from course generation LFG 🔥 @Coursebox_ai
