We’ve been thinking for a while about the value of Twitter / X for The Country Trust. Lately, it’s become clear that it’s no longer the right platform for us and we will look to close this account on 30th June 2025.
You can still keep up to date with what we’re doing through our;

In our Food Discovery sessions, children aren't just learning how to plant, they’re building confidence, practising maths, and developing language skills without even realising it.
✨ “If I planted 10 potatoes, I could get 100 back… WOW!”
📏 “It’s so tall… It’s 29cm!”
What does your soil smell of? Healthy soil will have an earthy, rich or clean aroma, while unhealthy or waterlogged soil may smell metallic or sour.

From riding tractors to meeting furry locals, farm fresh foods and rural history, Year 5 really enjoyed their visit to Gander Farm. They were inspired by the history of the farm and the links with our local area as well. Thank you Verity. #LFJSHistory #DT @CountryTrust
