"BOTW is a modernisation of the original Zelda" is the single most braindead gaming take of all time. No idea who first came up with it, and no idea why people keep repeating it. Nobody who has ever played these games would ever say this.

It's infuriating to see so many Zelda fans not know what they are talking about. The "OOT Model" of 3D Zelda isn't the "traditional model" the original LOZ is. BOTW is a modernization of the original LOZ. The OOT Model only came about because the technology didn't exist at the time for the devs to make a true open world LOZ like the original. If you prefer the OOT model that is fine but don't say it's the traditional model cause it sure as hell isn't.

Another Switch 2 Cartridge Check! 🔥 New details have surfaced about the Japanese physical edition of Another Eden Begins! 🎮 Japanese Edition ✅ On cartridge: v1.0.1 ⬇️ Available update: v1.1.2 (~7.4 GB) That’s quite a sizeable update! It addresses several issues, including New Game+ progression bugs, combat-related problems and a crash. It also adds a feature to relocate your character if they get stuck. If you’re waiting for a Western physical release, there’s good news! @aksysgames has already confirmed plans to bring it physically in 2027! ❤️

I've been posting video game deals for 10+ years and have never seen a game get as many clicks as Zelda Ocarina of Time is getting.

Nintendo Latin America Vice President says The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is “a global phenomenon” and they are running of of product worldwide! "Well, if we expected it, we wouldn’t be in that situation, right? At least not to this extent. I will tell you that it’s a global phenomenon. We have this issue absolutely everywhere. We apologize for that. That certainly is not the intent. We underestimated how well it would be received. And there’s certainly some markets that stand out. The United States did extremely well as well. It’s a global phenomenon where they’re running out of product. The pre-sales are hitting their max, and certainly that’s what happened to us in Brazil. We are working on replenishments of the special hardware and the software, but it’ll take a little bit of time. So I’m going to use this on you now: please be patient. But yeah, to answer your question, it caught us by surprise. We expected a positive response, but the magnitude, I mean, it’s amazing.” nintendoeverything.com/ninte…

"Everyone is going to forget about Zelda after 2 weeks." Do you know how long this fandom has been talking about the original Ocarina of Time? The game is 30 years old lol. This Remake is going to bring so much fresh energy to those conversations. And I'm here for all of it 🤷🏾‍♂️
