Hello world! We are the team behind CDP. We are building tools to make council actions, and interactions, more discoverable. It’s probably time for an “official” announcement so here are a couple of features we have been working on for a bit.

Fun fact, this was one of our first instances deployed almost entirely through @github Actions: github.com/CouncilDataProjec… We are planning on scaling up to ~30 different city and county councils this Summer!

New feature deployed to all CDP instances (v3.1.0): legislation tracking! Example: councildataproject.org/king-…
A screenshot of the new legislation tracking page available for all CDP instances. Includes the bill title, the bill description. The latest information such as the current status, a quick link to the latest meeting it was discussed in, and a link to the sponsor. Has more details such as a popout for more details on the latest vote and a history / legislation timeline with links to all meetings the piece of legislation was discussed in and the attachments to the piece of legislation for each of those specific meetings to act as a sort of "snapshot in time".

There are still some features we want to add and some cleanup we want to do but please give us any and all feedback!! Also thank you to members of @TheStranger @Crosscut @seattletimes @STCActionFund and more for early feedback too! This feature was made by ~8 diff contributors!
