In 2008 I visited Israel for the first time, interested in discovering more about this strange part of the world. On my first night I went to a restaurant. The food was amazing, but the waitress was out of this world. I would soon be living with her in Tel Aviv and by 2016, I would become her husband. That’s the magic of Tel Aviv and Israel. It can steal your heart and fill you with passion. So, thanks to my wife, Liat, I get to watch our crazy world spin from the heart of Tel Aviv. And I am still loving every second of it. Here’s to great memories.

Last year I was attacked in Paris by a pro-Hamas hate mob. They were screaming “F*** Israel, F*** USA”. This hate and violence was spreading like wildfire.
And now, the same mob is waving the same flags and chanting the same chants while Paris burns.
This was never just about Israel. It was never just about Jews. This is a war on the West and the freedom and values we hold dear. I said it then and I’ll say it again: wake up. This has to be stopped.

‘Palestinianism’ relies on ignorance and stupidity to flourish.
If any of its acolytes had ever read a history book or learned how to read a map, it would be dead in the water.
This is why the Pallywood propaganda was so successful.

To all those proclaiming “I am a Zionist” in solidarity with the Jewish community, whether you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Athiest, whatever your faith, whatever your ethnicity or nationality, may God bless you and yours with your caring heart, your moral compass, your discernment, your wisdom, your humanity. May God shine His countenance upon you and grant you peace.
The “genocide” lie is annoying but when the Paddystinians compare what happen in Gaza to the Holocaust — enough is enough. Feel free to copy and post this quote from Bill Maher in response.

Remember when a workers union in Dublin held a pro houthi event in their offices? I remember.

I'm sorry you've been going through this. I've been writing about antisemitism in Ireland for years and nothing provokes these aforementioned antisemites quite like being exposed. It's a terrible shame, because I happen to really love a lot about Irish culture and history. The thing is: I never try to impugn a whole nation for the acts and words of the most extreme members. That doesn't seem to be reciprocated all the time unfortunately. I do believe, however, that there are many in Ireland who are increasingly appalled by these bigots. We must work with them to create a better future for all and to foster better understanding between the Jewish and Irish people
I have never come across a bigger group of uneducated morons than the pro-Palestine “activists” on X. They curse, use blood-libels and spew abuse, but ask them for facts to back up their claims and there is silence…
Many of the abusive anti-Israeli comments I get appear confident that Israel is on its knees. Palestinians and their supporters believe the Jewish presence in Israel is temporary and will end through resistance. They could not be more mistaken.

After the Holocaust people asked why Jews didn’t fight back. After October 7th people ask why Jews are fighting back. We will never be lead to gas chambers again. We have learned to fight.

To my Jewish friends...I know things seem dark right now for so many. That many of you have been targets of hate from the world's most vile and pathetic. But know this-you are not alone. Decent people around the world stand with you. You don't always hear it-because the voices of the haters are amplified by our media-but we're there and the majority.
Am Yisrael Chai my friends. This American atheist stands with Israel and with the Jews. You are not alone.

‘2,000 years of history resurface in
Jerusalem 🇮🇱
A 300-meter stretch of an ancient aqueduct dating back to the time of the Kingdom of Judah has been unearthed in Jerusalem.
An extraordinary feat of engineering that conveyed water for over 21 kilometers to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, using only the force of gravity.
An exceptional infrastructure, which remained in operation for almost two thousand years.’

I shared a sweet story about a Jewish woman I met on a flight to Israel. The antisemitic response was vile, even by X’s standards. I’ve written about the determination to deny Jewish belonging and the future these people imagine when they cannot tolerate even a Jewish woman’s attachment to Israel. Any hope of peace starts with accepting that Israelis and Palestinians are both staying.

This is Bialik Square in Tel Aviv, which I visited earlier today. Its most prominent building is Tel Aviv’s first City Hall, built in 1925. It and the surrounding structures are a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Have a great week 🇮🇱❤️✊

Thousands of young Israelis singing Shir LaShalom (“Song for Peace”) together at the InDNegev music festival.
It's the same song sung at the 1995 peace rally, moments before Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated.
Its message is timeless: Choose love over war. Don't just dream of peace - make it happen.
Israelis have never stopped hoping for peace.
But until we see thousands of young Palestinians singing for peace with the same passion, we will have to keep defending ourselves.
We want peace. But we cannot achieve it alone.

Juan Carlos Girauta Vidal, a Spanish lawyer, writer, and Member of the European Parliament👇
“You did not listen to Israel — the vanguard of the West in the face of barbarism. You chose instead to condemn its right to self-defense, whitewash its terrorist enemies, deny the horrific crimes of October 7, and spread lies about genocide. Today, those who are destroying European cities are waving the Palestinian flag.”
