On #Clubhouse, someone asked Elon Musk, "what words of #encouragement would you give to an #entrepreneur?"
Elon: "If you need words of encouragement, don't become an entrepreneur.”

Foster Care is NOT a business.
There are active foster care agencies in Colorado that advertise it as a business opportunity. Just look at the top questions surfaced by Google with the search “foster care agencies Colorado Springs”. These are legitimate questions when the priority is the care of the child.
Unfortunately, some people don’t care about the latter. It is GROSS!
We ultimately went with Hope & Home (bottom of the screenshot), which is a wonderful organization that puts child welfare first.
Foster Mom Exposes the Demonic Fraud Inside Foster Care
“She goes, ‘Oh honey, I make $28,000 a month on foster care.’ I was like, ‘What?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, because I have this many kids.’ She goes, ‘Here’s the thing. You want to make sure they fail in school. If they fail in school and you can get them on medication, your rate goes up. Every time they don’t pass a grade, your rate goes up because they’re a more difficult kid. Every time they need medication, your rate goes up.’”

There are foster agencies that advertise foster care as a “business”. When we chose to foster, we went with the agency that focused on the welfare of the kids.
This is a must watch‼️
Foster care has become all about the money versus actually caring for children.
63 foster kids vanish every single day, while 344,000 children remain entirely unprotected. This shocking look into the foster care system exposes exploitation, systemic failures, and the dangers facing vulnerable children.

Tom Brady is more successful than you. He is better looking than you. He is richer than you.
And yet, this is what he said about life on “60 Minutes” as he reflected on his worldly success:
"Why do I have three Super Bowl rings and still think there's something greater out there for me? I mean, maybe a lot of people would say, 'Hey man, you've reached your dream, your goal.' Me, I think, 'God, it's got to be more than this.' I mean, this isn't, this can't be what it's all cracked up to be."
When the interviewer asked him what the answer is, Brady responded: “I wish I knew.”
My pastor @howertonjosh told this story at service today and it smacked me pretty good.
I have had the very uncomfortable experience of achieving worldly success beyond my wildest dreams… only to have this SAME EXACT revelation.
I could buy the house, the car, the watch that costs more than the car… and there I was alone in luxury having the terrifying revelation that none of it fulfilled me… like at all.
What do you do in a moment like that? Some men will make new worldly goals and chase a bigger number (or more Super Bowl rings). You can run on this hamster wheel until you’re on your death bed.
Some more fortunate men go on a journey to find meaning and purpose in this brief existence.
But the *most* fortunate of these men come to the conclusion that the only meaning that brings peace and joy in this world comes from the One who created it.
It took decades, but I finally found peace and contentment in chasing GOD’S will instead of my own.
If you’re lost and desperate to know your purpose, your mission… bend your knee to Lord Jesus and He will reveal it to you.
The answer you get might sound scary (or even require sacrifice), but I can assure you, it will be better than any plan you create for yourself.
@TomBrady is the GOAT of football. It’s my sincere prayer that he has since found his ultimate purpose and could one day be a powerful instrument to be used for God’s glory.

“AI isn’t coming to save you. The job isn’t either.
You’re the deciding factor. So decide. Take the risk. Go big with your dreams.”
Last night, I was standing outside Dream City Church after a recharging day and a half with the amazing people at Wisdom Pearl conference, when a double rainbow opened up right over the entire church. 🌈
An ER doctor from Stanford took this photo. He’d heard me speak and the next day, we ended up talking for a couple hours about the future of AI and the slow degeneration of logic he’s watching happen in real time. One of the best conversations I’ve had about AI. The raw reality of the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all.
I had another almost 2-hour conversation with an amazing YouTuber, a beautiful woman, a prayer warrior with strong values. She said hearing me talk from stage that AI is not the devil, a weight lifted off of her shoulders. She had heard so much about this and didn’t have any real clarity. We talked about the Hollywood propaganda that’s been happening for decades, portraying robots killing us all and how I believe that’s just yet another way to cloud the actual truth, which is this technology becoming the greatest single lever for our own personal liberty if we steward it well.
And standing there under that rainbow, this is what kept hitting me:
YOU are the pot of gold at the end of it.
Not the next career, job (what are those in 5 years?), platform, or stage. You.
The day we learn to love ourselves, live as the full and unapologetic ME, shed the old patterns that keep us stuck, and walk close to our Creator…
That’s the day it all falls into place.
AI isn’t coming to save you. The job isn’t either.
You’re the deciding factor. So decide. Take the risk. Go big with your dreams.
The biggest lever you have in the AI age is believing in yourself and what God put in you to build.
AI can do about 85% of the rest. The last stretch belongs to really smart, usually neurodivergent, deeply experienced creative humans. They’re the ones driving this future.
Two hours with a doctor who gets it, a sky that showed up on cue better than an AI prompt from a Creator that cared enough to show it. 🌈

On my way to the office this morning, I passed a group of young people protesting, a Palestinian flag draped over their shoulders.
And I asked myself a question I can't shake: why does this generation always fall into the same trap? No matter the history. No matter the context. Even the ones from wealthy families, who went to the best schools, who were dealt every good card. Always the same trap.
I don't think it's stupidity. I think it's a mechanism. And a mechanism can be taken apart, piece by piece.
A. The observation: everything the state touches becomes unaffordable.
Look at economist Mark Perry's famous chart, the one people call "the chart of the century." It tracks US prices since 2000.
At the top, what explodes: hospital services, college tuition, textbooks, childcare, housing. Increases of +100%, +150%, up to +250%, far above general inflation.
At the bottom, what collapses: TVs, software, phones, toys, clothing. A TV today costs a fraction of what it did in 2000, for an infinitely better product.
Look at what separates the two groups. It isn't technology. It isn't complexity. It's one variable: how much the state is involved.
At the top, sectors that are subsidized, regulated, shielded from competition, where the state funds demand and blocks supply. At the bottom, sectors where companies fight every single morning to serve you better and cheaper.
B. The mechanism: why it's systematic.
When the state subsidizes demand without freeing supply, prices rise. Every time. Guaranteed student loans, and universities raise tuition. Housing aid plus blocked building permits, and rents skyrocket. Administered healthcare, and bureaucracy eats the budget before it ever reaches the patient.
In France it's even more vicious, because the price doesn't disappear: it hides. You never see the hospital bill, you pay it through payroll contributions. You never see the cost of school, you pay it through taxes. Public spending at 57% of GDP, one of the heaviest tax burdens in the world, more than €3.4 trillion in debt. And the result? Overflowing ERs, falling PISA scores, young people who can't afford to live in the city where they work.
The market didn't fail in these sectors. It was never allowed in.
C. Suffering demands a culprit.
A 22-year-old lives all of this in their bones. They can't find a place to live. Their degree either buries them in debt or opens no doors. The future feels blocked. That suffering is real, and I don't deny it for a second.
But human beings can't stand suffering without a culprit. They need a face. A scapegoat.
And this is where everything is decided: who taught them how to read the world?
D. Whoever tells the story picks the villain.
Schools are public. Universities are public. Culture runs on grants. Film goes through funding committees. Public broadcasting shapes the narratives. The people handing down the interpretive framework are, overwhelmingly, paid by the very system that creates the problem.
Do you really think that system is going to name itself as the culprit?
No. It names the capitalist. The boss. The landlord. "The rich." The multinational. The commercial West. Same role, same casting, every time.
E. One lens, a thousand causes.
And this brings me back to that flag. A generation taught to read every situation through a single lens, oppressor on one side, rich, Western, capitalist, oppressed on the other, will apply that lens everywhere. To housing. To climate. To conflicts on the other side of the world. The cause changes, the lens stays. That's why the trap is always the same: it's not the cause that draws them in, it's the way of thinking that was installed in them.
F. The perfect inversion.
Here's the irony. Capitalism is the force that drove down the price of almost everything it touched. The state is the force that blew up the price of almost everything it captured. And young people blame the first for the crimes of the second.
It's like blaming the firefighter for the fire because you saw him at the scene.
G. The ballot box confirms it.
In the US, a few weeks out from the midterms, a large share of urban young voters is getting ready to vote Democrat for more state, more spending, more regulation. New York elected a self-described socialist mayor, carried by young voters, on promises of rent freezes and city-run grocery stores. Rent freezes, the policy that has made housing scarcer everywhere it's been tried. The cure that worsens the disease.
In France, it's the same play in two acts. Part of the youth votes for the radical left, which promises more state. Another part votes for the center, which promises to "manage" the state well, and has dug the debt deeper than ever. Two different ballots, one shared assumption: the problem is the market, the solution is the state.
H. The way out.
These young people aren't stupid. They're right to be angry. They're just aiming at the wrong target.
The day they understand that their rent, their tuition and their hospital are expensive precisely because the state runs them, their anger will change direction. They'll stop protesting against those who create. They'll start protesting against those who capture.
That day, the greatest intellectual scam of our time will be over.
Tell me you didn’t watch the full demo without telling me you didn’t watch the full demo.
I don't know why this isn't obvious to people, but the car clearly should have fallen down from the ramp long before it "flew." It wasn't going fast enough at all to stay on the under side of the ramp through centrifugal force alone. So something else was rigged to keep it on the under side of the ramp before it "launched" into flight.
It turns out that cars don't drive upside down on the bottom side of giant structures without falling down. So the question is: What was used to keep the car's wheels attached to the under side of the ramp BEFORE the "flight" segment?
Or are people too mesmerized by the demo to think logically about physics?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Tesla Roadster demo used an explained multi-mode fan suction system for up to 2G downforce to adhere to the ramp underside (not centrifugal force or hidden rigging), plus cold-gas thrusters for the flip/landing, as shown live and confirmed by Tesla and attendees.

Tokyo has almost zero public trash cans.
Not in the subway stations.
Not on the sidewalks.
Not in the parks.
Yet you can walk five miles through a city of 14 million people
and not find a single discarded coffee cup.
In New York, Paris, or London, removing trash cans produces a landfill within four hours.
In 1995, Tokyo removed its public bins after a domestic terror attack.
The city never put them back.
Why didn’t the streets drown in filth?
Because in this country, a child is taught from age three:
"Your trash belongs to you. Take it home in your pocket."
They didn’t solve cleanliness by hiring an army of sweepers.
They solved it by raising 120 million people who refuse to make their mess someone else's burden.

From a portion of “So God Made a Dog”, which was created as a twist on Paul Harvey’s “So God Made a Farmer”:
“God said I need somebody who would stand at your side when the world around you collapses.
Somebody to lie next to you during the long nights of pain and sorrow when it hurts to move, or talk, or think, or be.
Somebody to stand guard, play games, snore for hours, and repeat as needed.
Somebody to give you strength when you have none of your own.
Somebody to fight when you have no fight left, to hold onto your soul as if it were their favorite toy, playing tug of war to keep you in this world.
Somebody to be your companion and guide in this world and the next.
Somebody to wait for you on the other side or stand guard in your absence until they can join you for eternity.
So, God made a Dog.”

Grace and Justice are not mutually exclusive. Grace settles where a man stands before God. Justice settles what he owes his neighbor.
Thank goodness CPS declined.
🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a Colorado dad who helped his son become the YOUNGEST PERSON EVER to reach the top of Yosemite’s El Capitan...
...was REPORTED TO CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES for letting him do it.
Yes, you read that right.
His name is Joe Evermore, his son is Joey “Danger” Evermore.
Yes, Danger is his real middle name 🤣
Joey started the climb at 6 years old and he turned 7 HALFWAY UP THE WALL.
On May 20th, after FIVE DAYS on a 3,000-foot granite face, he reached the summit.
His older brothers, Sam and Sylvan, had both done it at 8, Joey beat them both.
By the way... this was not a stunt thrown together over a weekend, it was a rope ascent with a full support team.
Joe says his son was anchored to the wall the entire way, and that he managed the risks with a team, preparation, and training.
In his dad’s words: “In a way he’s the least afraid that we’ve ever seen.”
After the story went global, the comments turned ugly.
Joe says people told him his kids would be better off in FOSTER CARE... and then came the CPS reports.
Not one. MULTIPLE.
Joe says the family then got a LETTER from Child Protective Services.
CPS had reviewed the complaints... and DECLINED to pursue them (the right move)
Joe’s words: “they just don’t understand what’s dangerous and what’s not dangerous.”
So true... people let their kids have live access to anything and everything on the internet, but as soon as they see a brave kid doing something OUTSIDE, people lose their minds.
Childhood is being slowly destroyed by people who don't know what danger really is.
This man did nothing wrong and that boy is a LEGEND!!!!

He took a bullet for this

His wife sleeps in a half empty bed every night
And you? Sitting out of an election because of gas prices? Is that your excuse? They put a bullet in one of our boys and you’re gonna call it quits?
