Enforcing taxes that are only accepted in that currency creates demand for that currency.

The data sets (information) and models (way they "think") of many Ai tools are similar or the same. It's logical the same outcome would come from the same way information and looking at it.
This is not so dissimilar to humans finding the same wrong answers inside echo chambers.

We are today sharing an update on our approach in Turkey.
We were in negotiation with the Turkish Government throughout last week, who made clear to us Twitter was the only social media service not complying in full with existing court orders.
We received what we believed to be a final threat to throttle the service - after several such warnings - and so in order to keep Twitter available over the election weekend, took action on four accounts and 409 Tweets identified by court order.
We communicated our concerns about freedom of expression directly.
We will continue to object in court, as we have done with all requests, but no further legal action was possible before the start of voting.
Five court orders have been issued against Twitter regarding these actions and we have already objected to four of them. While one of our objections has been rejected, three of them are still under review. We are filing our objections to the fifth order tomorrow.
We are publishing below the court orders and the regulator's correspondence relating to the action we took.

MOAR COWBELL AS ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST...
Well, it looks like $FRC will bite the dust this weekend, either ending up in the hands of the FDIC or a major bank (with FDIC/Fed support).
In an over leveraged world, where GDP isn't growing fast enough to pay the interest on the government + private sector debt, the government interest payments get shunted onto the Fed balance sheet and magically never need to get paid back.
MOAR COWBELL!
The monetization of interest payments is observable across the US, EU, UK, Japan and more. That is the bulk of the growth of the central bank balance sheets.
But from time to time something blows up (all banks in 2008, EU banks and Gov's in 2012, everything in 2020 and more banks in 2023).
Normally these events would allow for full equity and. debt wipeouts but due to the excessive financial linkages and daisy chains of collateral, these losses are now mutualized via QE.
Essentially, society takes the loss in terms of the debasement of the denominator (purchasing power of fiat currency) as the money printer brushes all sins under the carpet.
Government debt interest payments are also being mutualized via this same mechanism as the tax take is not enough to pay for the ongoing increase in the debt burden. Gov debts compound due to interest payments and non-payment of the debt itself.
The outcome is that the debt payments and bailouts are really mutualized amongst the 99% while the 1% asset holders see the value of their assets rise (due to the fall in the denominator).
Incomes are not linked to the balance sheet, nor are revenues. They underperform. DO nothing and get poorer. After all, an asset is future deferred consumption thus if you own less assets, your future self is poorer.
Only 2 assets outperform this debasement: Tech stocks and high quality Crypto. Crypto has by far the highest beta to the global central bank balance sheets.
Not Real estate, not gold, not SPX, not bond yields, not EM equities, not credit. They all perform in line with the central bank balance sheets, or underperform.
This insidious mutualization of debt is a game you can opt out of...
Bitcoin was literally invented for this and due to its fractionalization is available to anyone. ETH even offers you a yield on top.
Don't like crypto? Buy semiconductors or even NDX.
But if you do nothing or stick to your old strategies, you will be paying for the losses.
The G4 central bank balance sheet grows at 10% per annum since 2012. If your choice of assets don't make 10% per annum over time, YOU are paying for the systems losses. That is your hurdle rate or you are getting poorer every year.
Urgh. This is how the world works now.
I applaud how @coinbase is handling this.
I dream of a future where the #USA can lead the way on #innovation.
To do this discussions are required by both sides of the aisle to move forward the industry.
