Our statement following the publication of the Grenfell criminal investigation timeline today 💚
A statement from Grenfell United in response to Today’s update from the Metropolitan Police where bereaved families, survivors and residents are being told that files will begin to be passed to the Crown Prosecution Service in September 2026, with charging decisions expected before the tenth anniversary. For our community, this is not news we meet with celebration. We meet it with caution, grief and determination. We have waited almost a decade for accountability. No family should have to wait over 10 years for justice for their loved ones, if it comes at all.

End Our Cladding Scandal
@EOCS_OfficialFeb 23
"The failure was allowing unsafe buildings to be put up in the first place, and then creating years of uncertainty about who pays, how much, and when. (...) If you can’t price the risk, lenders hesitate, buyers hesitate, insurers reprice, and the market seizes up."

Today as people spend time with their loved ones, as always we remember ours who were taken from us. 104 months on, and still no Justice for those lost at Grenfell. Alongside the red hearts you’ll see today, please take a moment to remember the significance of our green one💚

💚 As I neared the tower - now reduced by several floors - the loss on the skyline hit home. Tender to meet tonight with many old friends. Immensely sad to know of others who could not face it. #Grenfell - #ForeverInOurHearts 📷 1st image from 2019, 2nd & 3rd tonight, 4th June this year.

8.5 years since Grenfell. As the Tower comes down, they want Grenfell out of sight, out of mind. We will not let that happen. Today we will gather at 6pm for a vigil to mark 8.5 years. Join us to pay your respects and demand justice.
