They changed the way horses move in Java 26.3. Instead of aligning with the players cross hair and looking exactly where the player is they added a "sway" or delay to the horses head turning. It feels awful 🤮 @MojangSupport

This issue has been marked "working as intended" and I couldn't be more disappointed in @Mojang @Minecraft report.bugs.mojang.com/servi… Please voice your opinion in the comments of the bug report if you also dislike this change.

I think the "Sift" is a Biblical reference of "sifting the wheat from the tares", but maybe I just read too much into "Hell" (Nether) and "Purgatory/Void" (The End)
As seen on LIVE, the Sift dimension is coming to vanilla Minecraft! Very excited! And of course, you can experience it first in Dungeons II

Why are people excited for the Iceologer? What fun aspect do they think it would bring to the game?

The true answer to this is they're rewriting everything to remove all the woke stuff they were originally going to include.
Soooo…. What ever happened to this?

I just realized indexing is solved
i think AI is about to set off the biggest wave of historical discoveries ever and it's already started... > AI read the full text of a scroll buried by Mount Vesuvius 2,000 years ago, revealing a lost work of Stoic philosophy and a book by the philosopher Philodemus that nobody knew existed > AI deciphered another scroll from the same library and found Plato's exact burial spot, unknown for 2,000 years. the text even describes his final night, with Plato critiquing a flute player's rhythm from his deathbed > an AI handwriting model showed some Dead Sea Scrolls are 50 to 100 years older than scholars believed, putting the Book of Daniel within its author's lifetime. we could be looking at something close to an original > AI recovered a 250-line hymn to Babylon, one of the most copied texts of the ancient world, by matching 30 fragments scattered across museums worldwide. it had been lost for 1,000 years > AI found 303 new Nazca lines in Peru in six months, nearly doubling one of archaeology's most famous mysteries after a century of human searching had only turned up 430 > AI reconstructed the rules of a 2,000-year-old Roman board game from nothing but the carvings on a limestone slab, simulating thousands of games until it found the ruleset that fit everyone is excited about what AI will solve in the future i'm equally excited about what AI will solve from the past

I'm seeing too many argue "just listen to the spirit" or "feel the spirit of it". It is a vain tradition that helps no one, save to stroke the egos of those who speak it. Why then do our missionaries learn the native tounges of where they serve? Why is the Book of Mormon painstakingly translated into so many languages? Why can't they just "feel the spirit of it"? It's an important end to a foreign language mission. Your testimony has been born and grown in a foreign land, but it's time to transplant that testimony back to your native soil, to bear it in YOUR native tongue.
Returned sister missionary just bore her testimony in Spanish to a ward where nobody speaks Spanish. Imagine how much more everyone would have been edified had we been able to understand the words.

Love seeing LEGO in his element. Christians don't know what LDS believe.
Notice that no one who say "Mormons aren't Christians" can explain why

I just want people to stop conflating it as a "Mormon Mafia" schtick, absolute slander.

Gives new meaning to the word "Fire Wall"
Need a fence? What you really need is a deadhedge. It's a barrier made of dead branches stacked between two rows of posts. You feed it with branches, fallen limbs, and woody yard debris. Over a season it becomes denser than most commercial fencing. Over years, the bottom layers compost down and the top gets refilled with whatever you trim that week. Wrens, robins, and ground-foraging birds nest in the structure. Hedgehogs, field mice, frogs, and toads shelter in the base. Solitary bees, ladybirds, and beetles overwinter in the cavities. Germany has been planting deadhedges as wildlife corridors since the 1990s. The UK uses them for riverbank restoration. A wood fence costs thousands of dollars and supports no wildlife. A deadhedge costs nothing, gets denser every year, and provides habitat for dozens of species you want in your yard anyway.

So are all conservative outlets simultaneously (in the last few months) porting anti-mormon articles? Tucker Carlson, Daily Wire, TheBlaze. Interestingly even LDS founded Angel Studios has been compromised. What psyop is this?
Are Jesus and Satan brothers? Allie Beth Stuckey challenges LDS podcaster on Mormon theology. dlvr.it/TSL9QR

Further, all these previously successful conservative media seems to be failing? Going way off the deep end into radical right wing bizarre territory. What is going on with these people?

Just watched the new Avatar Aang movie. I hate Korra even more now.
Replying to @Fenrirtheicewo1
Literally couldn't watch the show anymore after this. Was to pissed that she had done that.

Little Bear was written by the same lady who wrote Hunger Games.
My kids watch extremely minimal tv/movies but they have watched Little Bear and Kipper the Dog as we are closing in on the last hours of a long car trip. They are both from the 90s and they are so slow and relaxing. The VOs, the music, the animation - all of it is basically as gentle as you get in tv form. I believe a lot of kids shows are totally psychotic and make their brains more addled than they need to be. I don't feel that with Little Bear or Kipper the Dog though. They don't annoy me when I hear them. They feel like 1997 PBS and that's basically the least brain frying option and the best you can get.

I am also on this server and if anyone cares for the miracle in this story I'll divulge 🙂 A couple of months ago I had some items, armor, and a horse go missing, at first I just thought I was remembering wrong and misplaced the horse and items. But later another player's horse had gone missing. Finally put two and two together when my breeder horses had obviously been messed with and were in the wrong pens. So we took a world download and looked at all the players inventories and wouldn't you know it, a player was wearing my very uniquely named armor, weapons, and had all the items I thought I had missing and more I didn't know where missing AND other valuables! They were nomadic and had been stealing items and horses at their convenience. The player was asked to repent and return the items, they never responded so we banned the player and returned the items to their owners. Months go by when suddenly 6 players ask to join the server. Our usual is about 2 or 3 a month. We are open and friendly so our admin happily added them on joking along with them. The players talked amongst themselves confirming each other as part of the same "youth group" confirming with "North Utah?". Now I had taken a 3 day hiatus, but when seeing such a large group come on thought I'd better check things out. My base is closest to spawn and most new players steal things here and there, never as bad as the banned horse thief player, but enough that I sometimes have to restock a few things. The group had posted on the discord commenting on all the "large white churches" scattered throughout the server. And showed off pictures of the cross church they were building. I logged on and started my rounds of checking all my chests for missing items. Came to my gunpowder stock and noticed quite a bit missing. Thought it was odd, but decided to take a look around the server for any changes that had happened in the last 3 days on the server. Snooped out a new hut that had popped up and as I went through the doors heard the TNT trigger and boom went the front of the house. All in all very little damage and an easy fix. No items had been lost. I thought little of it because the players around that area had been pretty chummy with each other and I assumed they had pranked each other and I had inadvertently triggered the trap. Another player was on at the time and I mentioned to him the missing gunpowder. He responded "What about a missing building!". We immediately met up and started checking things out. The area was flattened with a cross in its place. I caught the player up to speed on the group that had joined, and upon further investigation saw the crater hidden beneath the cross. He then noticed more of his buildings missing and the same craters hidden beneath. He then looked under some of his still standing buildings and saw TNT! We immediately contacted the admin and turned off the server so we could update everyone on our findings and prevent any more explosions. We then turned the server back on and began checking under buildings. The culprits seemingly had only 2 styles of traps: Trapping doors that already had pressure plates, using 1 or 2 TNT. And another that loaded underneath with as much as they could, but had no trigger. We went along and checked and disarmed every building on the server. Very few had been trapped or had enough space to be trapped, and again only ones that had pressure plate automatic doors. The other had seemingly given up after failing on the removed houses. All in all there was little damage to the server, when potentially they could have just detonated and lava'd the whole of it, but they didn't, opting instead for a simple disarmable trap. But what about the blown up houses? Well that's where the miracle is. Because our horse thief had been stealing my items we had made that backup. And on that backup contained the houses that had been removed. We'll just need to slap them back on the server and no harm done 🙂
There is a Minecraft server for LDS members I play on. Apparently, some kids from a different church blew up some of our buildings and built a church in the shape of a cross. Not even on Minecraft the LDS church is safe.
