The climate might be changing, we won't know, because the climate bureaucrats have stuffed with the figures... On second thought, if they have changed the results it is probably because they didn't back the hypothesis. Which means the climate just might be fine. What a relief
Trust the experts quoting the data. But who do you trust when the experts are corrupt and the data is junk? Burn coal. Now.

A forensic audit has uncovered false readings and widespread errors in the Bureau of Meteorology’s raw climate data, including blocks of temperature readings copied and pasted across different years and seasons, raising questions about the integrity of records used for climate analysis.

I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
On a ri.

Compelling: The West’s net-zero policies are handing China a huge strategic advantage While Western nations close reliable energy and raise costs, China adds wind and solar without giving up coal, oil or gas—then sells us the panels, batteries and other products our mandates require China’s approach is “add, don’t subtract”: build renewables and nuclear power while continuing to expand fossil fuels. This supplies cheap, dependable energy for Chinese industry. Meanwhile, many Western governments deliberately make their own energy more expensive and become increasingly dependent on Chinese solar panels, batteries, critical minerals and manufacturing. Western climate organizations scrutinize democracies far more aggressively than China, where independent activism is impossible and access depends on the state. Climate policy should be judged by its actual effect on global emissions, energy prices, industrial competitiveness and dependence on China—not simply by whether it appears ambitious at home. tabletmag.com/sections/news/… xitter.cf/BjornLomborg/status/21…

In September 1922, the Muslim Turks savagely murdered Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Smyrna. They gouged out his eyes with a bayonet, cut off his ears and tongue. They dragged him by the beard and hair. Around his body the Turks staged, with barbaric Muslim frenzy, the most horrific dance. They left nothing cruel or humiliating undone to the destroyed and half-dead body of Chrysostomos. They stabbed him, dismembered him, and dragged his body to the Turkish quarter, where they threw him to the dogs. Of course there were witnesses. However much the barbarians tried to alter the facts in order to hide who they really are. Things that no one in the rest of Europe and America ever cared to learn. But I will tell you. The metropolitan was proclaimed by the Greek Orthodox Church a Saint, an ethno-hieromartyr, who remained "faithful unto death" to Christ and to Greece. The Greeks of Asia Minor, the Ionians, paid dearly for the fact that they endured five centuries of slavery and remained Greeks and Orthodox Christians. In September 1922 the swords of the chetes and of the Turkish soldiers, as well as of the Muslim mob, burst with savagery upon everything Greek. They burn the cities and the villages, they vent their repressed feelings, they try to gain by plunder what they could not gain with their minds and their sweat; they set fire to the new Parthenons which they themselves, as barbarians, were never able to build. The Muslim Turks murder all the priests who decided to stay behind. Metropolitan Ambrosios Pleiathidis of Moschonisia, from Smyrna, is horribly cut to pieces, together with nine of his priests, on 15 September 1922, at the age of 50. The 46-year-old Metropolitan Efthymios Agritelis of Zela, from Mytilene, is imprisoned and dies in his prison after forty-one whole days and nights of horrific tortures, thirst, and starvation. His executioners buried him by throwing him into a pit in the courtyard of his place of torment; the decision condemning him to death also arrived from Ankara. The 58-year-old Metropolitan Gregorios Orologas of Kydonies, from Magnesia in Asia Minor, was buried alive on 3 October 1922, together with a multitude of clergy and laypeople. The leader of his executioners, a Turkish lieutenant, leading him to death, had the audacity to mock him, saying: "Come, I have prepared a room for you, so that you may dwell there all the years of your life." Tragic also was the death of Metropolitan Prokopios of Iconium, who was martyred shortly before the Asia Minor Catastrophe, after horrific and unspeakable tortures. Finally, the Metropolitan of Smyrna, the 55-year-old Chrysostomos Kalafatis, the Messiah of Asia Minor Hellenism, that charismatic Evangelist of Faith and Redemption, whose death is the most horrific of all. At the hour of the slaughter, Chrysostomos answers in the negative the allies’ advice to leave and save himself. His holy Greek soul urges him to remain, to the end, near the people he loved. For Greece, for the Greeks, and for his faith. A Patriot, a Saint. In a letter to the later university professor Leon. Filippidis, Saint Chrysostomos wrote: "Wherefore I was exiled and many times endured all manner of sufferings, dreaming of a Greek and free enslaved fatherland. The realization of the dreams found me aged, yet not white-haired. And behold, in my days, the one who boasted that wherever I tread, thence the Turk is driven away, the dream, which had taken flesh and bones, vanishes, dissolves, decomposes. And behold before the gates of Smyrna, the Greek one, the slaughterers, my God. What a sight and what a hearing. Am I to abandon Smyrna and my Metropolis? Never. The shadows of holy Polycarp would pursue me as a coward, and of Saint Gregory V as an unworthy successor of his. Dying, perhaps I shall strengthen others to remain faithful to duty and to shepherd the flock, carrying out what they preach. Perhaps, perhaps the blood which the slaughterer will shed… will shake the human conscience, perhaps illuminate the mind and warm the heart of the powerful of the earth to understand that the Hellenism being crushed is worthy of life and freedom." That same evening the U.S. consul G. Horton visits him and tries in vain to persuade him to have him smuggled out on the American firefighting vessel. In vain. The testimony of G. Horton: "They committed violence upon him, they tore out his beard, they struck him with clubs and with knife wounds, until he died, and then they dragged him, scraping him along the streets. His only fault was that he was a Greek of great patriotism and eloquence who desired the progress of his race and worked for that purpose. He died as a martyr and deserves to be awarded the highest honors by the Greek Church and the Greek Government". The testimony of René Puaux: "Chrysostomos, then, was handed over to the frenzied Muslim mob. They tore out his beard, stabbed him, dismembered him, and dragged his body to the Turkish quarter, where they threw him to the dogs…" Horton notes: "Chrysostomos died as a martyr. Polycarp, the holy patron of Smyrna, was burned alive in the stadium above Smyrna. The Turk rules today in the land of the Seven Churches and no one resists him, but the final scene of the total extermination of Christianity was glorified by the heroic death of the last Metropolitan of Smyrna." The killing of the Metropolitan was the signal for complete destruction. Burnings, persecutions, massacres, lootings, various barbarities took place. What happened in Constantinople on 29 May 1453 was repeated in Smyrna 1922. As I said before, the Greeks of Asia Minor, the Ionians, paid dearly for the fact that they endured five centuries of slavery and remained Greeks and Orthodox Christians. Revenge and justice will come when the whole world embraces Hellenism at the appropriate moment. The day is near. Remember these words of mine when the moment comes and stand with Greece against the evil and barbarism. The Light shall prevail. - Homer Pavlos

Islam is Islam. There is no Old Testament Quran and no New Testament Quran. Christianity split its book. Harsh conquest laws sit in the Old Testament. The New Testament is preached as the part that supersedes them. Clerics can wave violent passages away as fulfilled, outdated, not for now. Islam never made that split. The Quran is one revelation. Mecca and Medina are one creed. Early verses on patience were not the final word. Later verses—fight those who do not believe, strike at their necks, impose the jizya, expand until resistance breaks—came after. In classical doctrine the later command abrogates the earlier one. The sword verse is not an embarrassing fossil. It is the update. How many Muslims in power in the EU, UK, and America are not serving the Hamas agenda and parroting its blood libels? The NYC mayor? Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Zara Sultana, and 99% of Muslim politicians in the UK.

I get the concern about extremism, but broad-brushing Islam weakens the point. You and @Kamoflawless both know national security discussions are stronger when they focus on radicalization, violence, integration, and actual policy rather than identity alone.

Britain must not normalize this! This is mainstream Arab TV. An Islam and Sharia expert says parents must stop their daughter from tempting Muslim men to rape her by covering her properly. He says girls aged 2 are not to blame for provoking rape, but the parents are, because they must cover her with an Islamic veil from age 2.
Instead of deporting the invaders, Britain is embracing Sharia to make them feel welcome. Britain must stop handing out welfare, healthcare, housing, and Islamic clothing to illegal migrants. It only invites more. They know they will not be deported. France is not a war zone. Under international law, they are not refugees. This madness has to stop. Enough is enough is enough!

On March 30, 1822, Ottoman forces under commander Vahit Pasha carried out one of the most documented atrocities of the Greek War of Independence on the island of Chios. When the killing stopped, 42,000 Greek Christians had been slaughtered and 52,000 more had been sold into slavery. The scale of the violence recorded by eyewitnesses was extreme. Young girls were raped publicly in the streets. Women over 40 were set on fire and burned alive. Pregnant women were killed and their unborn children taken from them. Children were thrown against rocks. Men were mutilated and killed in front of their families. Several women of Chios chose to jump from cliffs rather than be taken into slavery. When it was over, Vahit Pasha had the heads of the remaining Christian prisoners cut off. Their skulls were stuffed with straw and packed alongside five loads of additional heads and two loads of severed ears, all sent to the Sultan in Constantinople as trophies. Eyewitness accounts describe the sea around the island running red, and the smoke from burning homes so thick that the flames lit the night like daylight. The massacre shocked Europe. Eugène Delacroix painted "The Massacre at Chios" the following year, bringing the atrocity to international attention and fueling philhellenic support for Greek independence. Victor Hugo also wrote about it, helping turn European public opinion against the Ottomans. Chios had been one of the wealthiest and most prosperous islands in the Aegean before 1822. After the massacre, its population was effectively destroyed. The date, March 30, 1822, remains one of the darkest in modern Greek history.

This is the question nobody seems interested in asking. For roughly 80 years, global annual CO₂ emissions have followed a remarkably persistent upward trajectory. During that time we've had decades of climate-crisis warnings, international treaties, climate summits, emissions targets, carbon taxes, mandates, subsidies and enormous expenditures intended to reduce emissions. And yet the global emissions curve still looks remarkably similar to the long-term trend. So here's the question: What exactly has all of this accomplished in terms of the stated goal... reducing global annual CO₂ emissions?

More than half a million balsa trees are illegally logged in the Amazon each year, largely driven by the demand for wind turbine blades. As plantation supply runs short, logging has moved into protected rainforest and indigenous territories. Roads are cut into intact jungle, habitats are fragmented, and local ecosystems are disrupted. Balsa is lightweight and essential for turbine construction. Demand has surged due to the West's environmental push, but the supply chain is largely untracked at source. The result is an ignored cost: so-called "green" energy, cut down and shipped.
