Really wish I was hiring right now, but since I'm not some of y'all should talk to Jacob. He's definitely in the top tier of engineers I've ever gotten to work with.

I've been meaning to announce this for a bit now and this blog post is a good kick in the butt. I'm giving a talk at Fintech Devcon this year! On my home turf here in Denver!
The #fintechdevcon conference exists for the #fintech community. It's a place for builders to share their wins and hardships. That's why we're honored to welcome such amazing speakers who want to openly share knowledge so we can all level up together. 💪

A big part of working remote for me the last 8 years has been coffee shops. Tried an experiment today to work from the park and I'm going to call it a success. Got a portable battery running my 4g hotspot + keeping my laptop running

Thanks for the nomad internet tip. Just got my hardware from them, this is phase one of me testing it out before it goes on the road with me.
Our app is on product hunt today! If any of y'all have accounts on there, I'd really appreciate you taking a look and leaving an upvote.
Excited to share @braid_app with you all today! We want to make it easier to share money. To do that, we've built a new financial account called a group account. Create a group, invite people, add money and spend.

A thread.
For my Madison people, here's a spot-on take about how our new Mayor is trying to have it both ways. Says nice words in public then does nothing to help or is even actively harmful.
"Satya Rhodes-Conway is failing Madison"
"Satya Rhodes-Conway isn’t the only elected official in Madison whose overtures of support for Black Lives Matter are stunningly hypocritical," writes Dayna Long tonemadison.com/articles/sat…

Congrats on the stupidest take in the non-let ‘em die category yet. We did fucking show up. To vote. In Wisconsin. And then we went back to trying to not kill our neighbors.
A stark question for Ds, both at the national leadership level-Biden/Pelosi etc-but also in grassroots: w/#coronavirus death toll racing toward 40k, caseload past 700k, how is it that the most visible sign of public unrest is now Tea Party-like opposition to state restrictions?
In the last 10 months I've helped build 1 app and made 0 tweets. Time to even that out now. We just got compound.co up in app stores near you! It's a better way to share money. I'd love it if you'd check it out and let me know what you think
I've got a fever, so I slept all day, when my wife got home I started angrily sleep-yelling at her about how "THE TEXT ISNT CENTERED". I've officially done too much front end web dev this week.

My taxes won't be cut. My tax bill will quadruple.
But I am coming back to NYC! Friends out there, hopefully I can see y'all the weekend Sept. 8th & 9th
