Kevin Feige reportedly revealed this about the upcoming Marvel Studios X-Men reboot: “We had a heated internal debate about who gets to front the franchise, and despite massive pressure to lean entirely on Wolverine again, I put my foot down. Cyclops is finally going to be the absolute anchor and primary leader of the team. For years he was sidelined, but we’re giving him the tactical weight, the gritty moral dilemmas, and the spotlight he actually deserves to carry the MCU into its next era.”
