I know I made some mistakes.
I know some people lost money.
I burned out from all the external and internal pressure (some crazy stuff happened within the team) and had to take a break. I couldn't touch a screen for weeks.
I should have been transparent, and that’s my mistake. Broom had so much potential, and I wasted it. But it's not a rug pull; it's just a failed project where I lost a big part of my community and $100k.
Just a reminder, I created BROOM to try to save people from a bad ending Ponzi (which I openly branded as a Ponzi). I didn’t rug anyone; I lost more money than all of you with BROOM.
2nd Reminder: If you lost money in a Ponzi, it’s because many people made a crazy amount of money.
That’s the game we all decide to play when we invest in these projects.
Don’t invest in degen projects if you can’t accept that sometimes you lose and others win. Your money didn't go in my pocket, but in those who made 5x, 10x (and many people thanked me for CoqVsHunter). For the nostalgia, CoqVsHunter was HUGE, we were top1 on opensea, we did $1M+ volume in total in the span of a week! We onboarded some ETH/SOL guys on avax and we had fun.
I know a lot of people will still hate me, and that’s fine—I totally understand you. Simply don't invest in my future projects. I learned a lot from my mistakes, and I guarantee you'll feel it in the upcoming weeks. Even if you hate me, we all know that I dev very well and can deliver quickly. Combine this with the learnings from my mistakes, and we have a winning recipe. Every successful founder you know has made mistakes in the past (but they hide it).
Avalanche needs more builders to grow; the ecosystem is moving too slowly. Count on me.

PvP has been deactivated. Read this to understand.
Our end goal was to burn NFTs to transition from CvH to $BROOM, but this turns out to be a mess for a lot of you. We found another way to do it 👇
Important announcement - Read carefully
The goal of the PvP was to burn NFTs in a fun way to get points and $BROOM allocation.
Turns out it's not that fun for most, so we'll deactivate it, and reset the point counter.
Instead, those who haven't played will be able to "Claim POINTS & Burn", which will give points for the NFTs you got without the randomness of the PvP, and will be doable in one transaction.
Points will work based as they did in PVP, one COQ burnt will be 1 point.
If you burn a hunter it will be worth 9 points, each bullet after will be an additional 9 points so if you burn a 4 bullet you’ll receive an automatic 36 points making a 4 bullet worth exactly 36 COQ as intended
We will announce how the point conversion will work, but we are striving for a $7-20 per point system DEPENDING on how many NFTs are burnt, this number could fluctuate up or down and will be finalised once all NFTs are burnt.
Those who already played and burned their NFTs will be able to "Claim Points" for each NFT they burned. We will give a 10% bonus for time and gas wasted, this INCLUDES if you lost your NFT in PVP events as we are aware some people may have cheated and we do not want anyone unfairly not being able to be apart of $BROOM.
In addition to this, we will still be using the previous leaderboard we set out with the top burner prizes, it’s not fair to remove this as it was promised and will still be honouring the $25,000 prize pool for the people with the most points.
As for the people who claimed the Vault once it was turned off and couldn’t claim your WAVAX, we have not forgotten and will look into compensation and a resolution soon, please be patient whilst we look into this for you

Friday: $BROOM tokenomics/roadmap
Saturday: Final Burn event
People will have 72Hours to claim their points by burning their NFTs.
After then, you will be able to convert your points into $BROOM and $BROOM will launch.
I want to end this message with a massive thank you to everyone for your patience, I understand the transition has not been perfect but we have learned valuable lessons and will strive for better and much smoother releases in the future.

GM. So far, 3 issues with the CoqArena
1. Whales have very expensive fee to unstake their NFTs. This is due to Avalanche but we found a clever way to solve this issue. Announcement regarding this soon, no need to unstake if you didn't do it.
2. The game is not really suited for whales. Those who got 100+ nfts don't necessarily want to spend their day on our dApp. We'll add a new option to make it easier soon
3. Vault issue. We stopped feeding the vault because it's very pricey and we wanted to save the funds for $BROOM. An unexpected issue happened: some people never actually claimed their rewards and thus couldn't claim. Solution => I'm gonna see if I can take a snapshot of your rewards before people tried unstaking, and refund the avax.
As a reminder, the CoqArena is just a "transition" from CvH to the BoardRoom. I wanted to make a fun transition and thus hired devs to build the app while I was working on the BoardRoom, but it turns out that it's not that fun lol, sorry for this. PvP with +40k nfts is not really suited on Avalanche.
I'm gonna publish an article about my vision for the BoardRoom once it's a lil bit more calm here.
Sorry if the PvP transition is a bit deceiving, what I promised is a transition into a wonderful project that will take over avalanche, and I will keep delivering for it to happen. Thanks for trusting me
