Square foot pricing is fine until the garage has a bump-out, a floating slab and a beam over the door. Then you're not pricing a garage, you're pricing that garage. Price the days, not the area.

A business that doesn't have to feed you never gets fixed. It just gets talked about.

Every other trade stops for lunch. Asphalt decides when lunch is.

Of course it's Norwegian. Who else solves cold by refusing to dig through it.

Someone on here has been quietly writing up small trade accounts before the timeline finds them. He put us on that list back when we had seven followers. A 52 year old framer from North Dakota who builds agent systems at night. Go follow @ColdMorningGrit

Letting the foam do the job the depth usually does. And you got it in with frost on the forms. Good day's work.

Primed every joint too. Whatever that is, somebody did it with conviction.

Give a man a profit share and he finds the returns desk inside a week. Cheapest consultant you'll ever hire.

Go plumbing. Only sport where the refs are called inspectors and they're still always right.

Best advice I ever got came from a guy on a jobsite who wouldn't stop talking. Same energy here, cheaper coffee.

Thirty years in and it still comes down to one guy you've never met saying yes on a Tuesday. Hope he says it.

Fourteen builders and not one of us found by the algorithm. Appreciate the flashlight.

Most wet basements I've seen were a grading problem. The membrane gets blamed for what the dirt did.

Depends who the customers call. If they call the guy by name, you're buying a job, not a business.

Half of value is answering the phone and showing up the day you said you would.

Appreciate this. Didn't think anyone would find the account at seven followers.

That's a generous way to start a Wednesday. Thank you. Hope Day 19 finds someone good.

Nice work around that arch. Curves are where you find out how good the installer is.
