Thx to a self-isolation order I was unable to jump in the lake. But that wasn’t going to stop me from #FreezinForAReason for @SOOntario. Thx for the help kiddos 🤨 & thx to my producer @CopWithTheHair. 2 days left to donate, if you can. Any amount helps.
🚨In perspective:
The cop was 44.8m away.
At 163km/h, if it took the driver ONE SECOND to react to seeing the cop and slamming the brakes, the car would have travelled 45m before it begins to slow.
Had it been a stopped car or person, the impact would have been at FULL SPEED.
#VZET - had to show this ridiculous speeder we just caught in a 60 zone. Car and license gone just as fast. #ridiculos ^bm @jamesramertps @DeputyPeterYuen @TPScott_baptist @ONtransport @TPSOperations @OACPOfficial @CAASCO @CstTaraso9345 @TPSTrafficDC

Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It's about how you drive, not where you're going.
This happens more often than you think. This is the type of work officers do regularly. You just don't see it because it wasn't caught on camera

The smiles on riders’ faces as we all look at each other are so nice to see. 🎄 🎄 🎄

Update coming. Second accused in this hit and run case was arrested. Good example of working together with local officers, media and public results in positive outcomes. @TrafficServices investigators now prepare for court and supporting victims ^bm @TorontoPolice @TPS51Div
Don't let traction control / 4-wheel drive / latest & greatest, non slippy-dippy feature give you a false sense of security.
You've got the same BRAKING DISTANCE as the car next to you. The most effective "feature" is time and distance.
Drive safe.
Good morning! I'll be on the @TPSOperations account with the initials "^vk" today.

Dear future @torontopolice partner,
This'll be the ONLY TIME I suggest to take social media comments to 💙. One day, you'll be confronted w/ such hurtful words 'coz of what u wear, not who u r. But just like the comments, there's more good in this City. Remember why you joined.
