Im back to being super duper bullish about $HODL. I bid it hard around the 2M-2.5M mcap range as soon as i saw the distro was much cleaner.
I would say I value HODL as a 100M coin purely based on what it stands for. In any and every type of market, only one rule applies: if you cant HODL, you wont be rich.
Even GameKyuubi’s rant delivers infinite memetics, it is literally us in today’s market. We are not pro traders, we cannot keep up with all the 50 multi wallet bundles, we just miss the vibe of HODLing and sending a coin to millions
Beyond the memetics, it is a phrase that is etched in crypto history. Potential to be a multicycle coin like DOGE, PEPE etc
Just buy $HODL, You will thank me for this
2.4M market cap is a total steal

blockchains are permissionless distributed systems, anybody can launch a token at any time whenever they want, that process should be easy for anyone to do
there are two groups mad at pump fun
• ppl mad their alts didnt pump
• ppl who lost money trading microcaps
--
if pump fun thinned the liquidity on the bid side so much that your altcoin was affected that speaks more about that alt than it does anything else, if you were able to identify the trend shift of users gambling on chain then you made min. 5x+ just holding solana and not participating in the rest of the eco at all - never needed to touch or trade pump fun, the issue in crypto is that we have pumped alts to hilarious valuations multiple cycles in a row without them having any product or traction at all - these are the coins that are suffering from pumpdotfun doing well, bc they might as well be memecoin microcaps with an anon dev launch and a jpeg + description anyways - there is no reason that ghost chains like cardano with zero users should command a 40b valuation, its ludicrous, and the expectations for crypto ppl are just way too high for a lot of these coins that dont do anything, it isnt that pumpdotfun ruined the market it made the market more transparent about what users are actually speculating on because theres no difference between buying zebrawifearmuffs coin and buying digibyte - there has been zero impact to the bid for good coins (see: bitcoin or solana) which comes from insto capital & hnwi who could care less about what retail is gambling on, it just affects the alts that dont do anything
& ppl who lost money trading on pump fun, eventually if they continue to have a bad experience then they will leave, pump has three options
• not change & eventually have to deal with competitors w/ lower fees / better rebates for users / higher success rate for coins
• distribute part of fees to community and/or lower fees
• launch a token & airdrop to power users of the protocol
regardless, crypto very quickly fixes problems where the protocols are too heavy on fees towards their users - either the meta dies like what happens with NFTs, or ppl come up with a new solution
--
but saying that pump is one of the worst things to happen to crypto for making it easy for ppl to launch tokens is hilariously incorrect, crypto should make it easy for anyone to do anything on chain not harder, & if it didnt have pmf then they wouldnt have $500M+ in revenue
