Great opportunity to work at a fantastic trust, supporting the 1:1 device programme for @CoombeBoysNews & @CoombeGirlsNews. eteach.com/job/chromebook-pr…
Great opportunity for someone starting out in IT to work for and learn from a brilliant team (if we do say so ourselves!): findapprenticeship.service.g…
Looking forward to working with @ArborEdu to move @CoombeAcademy schools onto our new cloud-based MIS system! School staff can find out more here: sites.google.com/coombe.org.… (Coombe login required)
The downside of unboxing new gear. Too much waste. One area where @ASUSEducation had the edge with only cardboard. @lenovo_UKI @LGfL area for improvement. – at Kingston upon Thames, London

420 @lenovo_UKI #Chromebooks ready for @CoombeBoysNews & @CoombeGirlsNews Year 7s from @LGfL #BridgeTheDevice
Thank you @DWalls314 for your leadership and support you've given us over the years. It has been great working in @CoombeAcademy with such strong leadership you built. We would not be where we are without you. The whole IT team wishes you a very happy retirement.
Check out the eggs hatching at @glpns. One is breaking through this very moment! youtu.be/5wZe4Rv9bZY
Great announcement! We worked closely with @LGfL to build this product to meet the needs of schools both through lockdown but also to meet the safeguarding needs of 1:1 programmes. #HomeProtect and #BridgeTheDevice are key parts of our 2021 1:1 programme.
GREAT NEWS FOR SCHOOLS - if you commit to @LGfL we'll give you #HomeProtect !! 😀 All part of our reinvestment back into schools to enhance safeguarding and cybersecurity. Together lets keep children safe and schools secure. Big thank you to our fantastic team @LGfLDigiSafe ❤️
Surprised that #Chromebook is only 10 years old. We got our first couple just 4 years ago and have since grown to just shy of 2,000 Chromebooks across the trust! That number will only increase rapidly over the next few years.
Cheers to 10 years, #Chromebook 🎊! See how Chromebooks have glowed up over the past 10 years and learn about new updates, like screen recording, coming soon to Chrome OS: goo.gle/3aQkI0T.
Yep, so this was my Friday evening! Really glad we fixed a pretty complex issue with #HomeProtect before both remote and on-site learning continued this morning.
Oh and and at around 10 pm we also found & resolved a deep technical issue with the filtering platforms for #HomeProtect Whilst its frustrating these things happen I can't ask any more of @LGfL @digisafe #DavidYoung whose passion for #safeguarding children is such an inspiraton

A huge thankyou to @DLAConnectKids for their very generous donation of laptops on chromebooks. This will be an enormous support for online learning.
Was great to work with Christ Church New Malden Primary School to support their move into Gmail over half term. 100 mailboxes successfully migrated, and training delivered to key staff. Will help to embed @GoogleForEdu. Will be helping to further develop in the coming months.
180 Chromebooks delivered last Friday afternoon, thanks to @eduthingltd.
Wow, parents at our schools are the best! Some very generous donations of laptops for pupils plus this! This will keep the IT team going as we continue to work through the Chromebook requests.
These laptops are already helping students struggling with access to remote learning. Thank you so much @DLAConnectKids.
We were so pleased to deliver 20 laptops to @CoombeGirlsNews. Volunteer Alison (middle), handed over devices to David Young (IT Director) and Emily Barns (Acting Headteacher).
The school can now pass the devices onto children who need them for their #remotelearning.

ALT Our volunteer, Alison, stands inbetween David Young (IT Director) and Emily Barns (Acting Headteacher) who hold laptops we've donated. All are socially distanced and wearing masks.

ALT Graphic with a quote from Acting Headteacher at Coombe Girls' School: "We are incredibly grateful to Keep Kids Connected for the devices they gave the school today. As a school, we have been working very hard to help our students access devices whilst they can't be in school. This latest delivery will help us to continue to ensure that each of our students is able to access online learning, play a full part in their lessons, make progress and stay in touch with their teachers and peers. Thank you so much to KKC for their support."
30 #BridgeTheDevide Chromebook delivery today. Perfect timing, getting ready to go out to more pupils. Thanks @LGfL @LenovoEducation @CDW_UK
