Gresham's Law states that bad money drives out good, and every government that has ever debased its currency has proven this true the hard way. The mechanism is straightforward. When a sovereign declares that two coins carry equal legal value despite one containing more silver, citizens spend the inferior coin and hoard the superior one. The overvalued bad money circulates. The undervalued good money disappears into mattresses and private vaults. The state creates this distortion through legal tender laws, forcing you to accept both coins at the same face value regardless of actual metal content. Without that legal compulsion, Gresham's Law doesn't operate. Markets simply price the better money higher. Rome did this with systematic ferocity. The silver denarius, roughly 90% pure under Augustus, fell to under 5% silver by the reign of Gallienus in the 260s AD. Citizens watched the debasement happen and responded rationally: they spent the garbage and saved whatever genuine silver remained. Gresham's Law is a symptom, not a disease. State monopoly over money is the disease. Remove the legal tender mandate, allow competing currencies, and good money wins on merit. Thomas Gresham identified the phenomenon in 1558 through observation. The cure has been available just as long.

“Liquidate labor, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate. It will purge the rottenness out of the system. High costs of living and high living will come down. People will work harder, live a more moral life. Values will be adjusted, and enterprising people will pick up the wrecks from less competent people.” -Andrew Mellon, Secretary of the Treasury under Presidents Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover.
Recessions are supposed to hurt. That pain is the cure, not the disease. When credit expands beyond real savings, the central bank manufactures a boom that cannot last. Businesses build factories for demand that borrowed money fabricated. Workers take jobs that only exist because interest rates sat artificially low. When the correction arrives, those malinvestments need to liquidate. Wages fall in some sectors, capital shifts, weaker firms close. Painful, yes. Fatal, no. The depression arrives when government refuses to let the correction finish its work. Herbert Hoover did this with textbook precision between 1929 and 1932. He signed Smoot-Hawley, raised the top income tax rate from 25% to 63%, pushed wages above market-clearing levels through industry agreements, and expanded federal spending by 50%. Every intervention delayed liquidation. Franklin Roosevelt then deepened and extended those same policies for a decade, keeping unemployment above 14% through 1940 when the private economy, left alone, would have recovered years earlier. Governments prop up insolvent banks, subsidize failing industries, and inflate prices to prevent the nominal wage adjustments that would restore employment. Each intervention signals investors to wait. Capital sits idle because the rules keep changing. The recovery never gets traction because the government keeps moving the floor.

Pat Buchanan, 1999: “By moving NATO onto Russia’s front porch, we have scheduled a twenty-first century confrontation. … America will face a hellish dilemma: risk confrontation with a nuclear-armed Russia determined to recreate its old sphere of influence, or renege on solemn commitments and see NATO collapse.” Therefore, he said, “Offering NATO memberships to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and, as some urge, Ukraine is rashness bordering on madness.” Referring to maps the Clinton team must have ignored, Buchanan warned, “This would put the Russian base at Kaliningrad behind NATO lines and bring into a U.S.-led alliance three nations with huge Russian minorities.” Foreseeing future conflict, he observed that “Latvia is almost half Russian; eastern Ukraine, almost entirely Russian. America could neither defend nor liberate these nations without the risk of nuclear war.” Pat Buchanan, A Republic, Not an Empire: Reclaiming America’s Destiny (New York: Regnery, 1999), 17–18, 22.

The freest banking era in American history also delivered the most stable prices Americans ever experienced, and the federal government had almost nothing to do with it. Between 1837 and 1863, the United States operated without a central bank after Andrew Jackson killed the Second Bank of the United States. Jackson understood monetary economics better than every Federal Reserve chairman combined, despite his inability to read a balance sheet. What actually happened? Hundreds of competing state-chartered banks issued their own notes. Suffolk Bank in Boston built a private clearinghouse network that disciplined reckless lenders without a single bureaucrat collecting a salary to do it. Banks that over-issued notes faced redemption pressure from competitors. Imagine that: accountability enforced by markets instead of congressional testimony nobody acts on. The price level in 1863 sat roughly where it sat in 1837. This represents 26 years of near-zero inflation. The Fed has destroyed over 96% of the dollar's purchasing power since 1913. Critics called free banking chaotic because bank runs happened. Bank runs also happen under central banking (IndyMac, 2008), except now you get to bail out the gamblers with your tax dollars. The chaos argument collapses the moment you ask who pays for the "stability." You pay. Every year. Through currency depreciation that never appears on any bill the government sends you.

For those who wonder why majority of Americans now have serious concerns over India's human capital export and aggressive and often illegal tactics to capture jobs via H-1B and offshoring, what is often missed is India's aspiration to gain control over how we decide things.

The commander who led the land operation to liberate the Falklands has triggered a furore by saying that boats carrying migrants across the Channel should be machine gunned. 'I would shoot them,' Major-General Julian Thompson told a documentary about mass immigration to Britain. The Home Office warned today that anyone taking the law into their own hands would face 'serious criminal consequences',..... HOWEVER ANYONE ENTERING THE UK ILLEGALLY IS STILL WELCOME 🙄🤬🤬

My sister's longtime dentist practice got bought out by a private equity-backed dental group four months ago. Same office. Same hygienists. Same chairs. Zero new equipment. Last week they sent the new fee schedule for anyone with insurance. A routine cleaning that used to run $120 is now billed at $310, with the group quietly dropping several insurance plans they used to accept. When patients asked why, the new regional manager gave a scripted line about "aligning with market standards." Private equity figured out the same trick everywhere. They're buying up the things you can't opt out of: dental, veterinary care, urgent care, hospice, because they know you can't just skip your kid's cavity or your dog's surgery. This isn't inflation. It's leveraged debt getting loaded onto places you have no choice but to keep paying.

“Close your borders while you still have time”. That is the message from this French woman. Pay close attention: French people are facing the reality their globalist leaders created. Open borders & mass migration are a weapon on invasion & conquest. They take human strengths like compassion & empathy & turn them into weapons to use against you. It has happened all over the western world - not in China or North Korea or Mali or Lebanon - no. It is the west that is under assault. Why? The answer is obvious. When the numbers/populations grow, they remake the country in their own image - not yours. Not the nation you have always known but the nation they want it to be. The “open borders” cult campaigned openly, right in front of your eyes, bullying & shaming you into submission, leaving you blind to the truth. The bet they took is that it would be “too late” by the time you woke up. That no one would have the courage to remove families & tear open communities & send people kicking & screaming back to the nations whose flags they still fly on French soil. Sound familiar? Of course it does. The same people protesting ICE in America are burning down schools in France. They even dress the same. Why? Because all black is the uniform of Antifa terror networks worldwide. They call it the “Black Bloc” and offer instructions online. It is designed to prevent identification. So when the police ask, “Who burned the lady in the face? What did he look like?” The answer is always: “He was wearing all black officer.” These people are trained agitators. They are violent by design & they share tactics across borders. They practice strict counter-intelligence measures & they never self-identify when caught. They know what they are doing. Do you?
American an European friends, I’m so ashamed, but you need to see what France has become. Don’t make the same mistakes we did. The only peaceful solution is to send them back to their countries of origin they love so much. We cannot coexist. It will be them, or us.

33 years ago this weekend, two Delta Force snipers made a choice almost nobody would make. Master Sergeant Gary Gordon was 33, from Lincoln, Maine, with a wife and two young kids at home. Sergeant First Class Randy Shughart was 35, a farm kid from Newville, Pennsylvania. On October 3, 1993, they were in a Black Hawk circling over Mogadishu when another Black Hawk, Super 64, was shot down. Pilot Mike Durant was alive in the wreckage with a broken back and a crushed leg. His crew was hurt. There were no friendly ground forces anywhere near them, and hundreds of armed militia and locals were already converging on the crash site. From the air, Gordon and Shughart could see exactly what was coming. They asked to be dropped in. Command said no. They asked again. No again. They asked a third time and finally got the green light. Their helicopter set them down nearby and they fought their way to the wreck on foot. Two men, carrying only what they had on them. They pulled Durant out of the cockpit, set him up in a safer position, and started holding off the crowd. For a while, it worked. They kept the mob back with precise, steady fire while the numbers against them kept growing. Shughart was killed first. Gordon kept fighting alone. When he was nearly out of ammunition, he went back to Durant, handed him a rifle, and told him good luck. Then he went back out. He was killed minutes later. Durant was captured, beaten, and held for 11 days. He came home alive. He has said for decades that he's only here because of those two men. In 1994 Gordon and Shughart were posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor, the first since Vietnam. The Navy later named two ships after them, the USNS Gordon and the USNS Shughart. They didn't stumble into that fight. They watched it from above, understood the odds, and asked three times to go anyway. Gary Gordon and Randy Shughart. Remember their names.

Today is World Animal Day. We love our animals, and we won't stop fighting for them. They aren't lab equipment, and they aren't disposable. We've made protecting them a priority during our time in Congress: ✅ The PUPPS Act ends the breeding of dogs for research and shuts down the pipeline supplying them to taxpayer-funded labs. ✅ Violet's Law, passed in the House-passed Farm Bill, requires federal labs to offer retirement and adoption to animals instead of euthanasia once research ends. ✅ The PAAW Act prohibits the National Institutes of Health from conducting or funding research causing the most severe levels of pain or distress to dogs and cats. Man's best friend belongs in a loving home, not a lab. We'll keep fighting to protect the voiceless.

Replace “Jean-Pierre” with “Paul” or “Steve”, and this could easily be set in America. @VDAREJamesK @Will_Tanner_1
At first, Jean-Pierre did not understand. He watched the evening news, paid his taxes, voted responsibly and believed what respectable people told him. 1. France needed immigration because the economy needed workers. 2. Diversity was an opportunity. 3. Public services were under pressure because they lacked funding. 4. Disorder at school was caused by inequality. 5. Crime statistics required context. 6. Anyone who connected these things too quickly was probably an extremist. Then his children started coming home from school saying they could barely hear the teacher. Half the lesson was spent restoring order. Teachers changed constantly. Some simply disappeared for weeks. Jean-Pierre complained once, politely. The administration explained that the situation was “challenging” and that the school was developing an “inclusive pedagogical response.” Jean-Pierre went home reassured. There were professionals dealing with it. His neighbourhood changed too. Shops closed. Others appeared. Groups of men occupied the same corners every evening. His wife stopped taking one street after dark. Jean-Pierre noticed all of this, but he had also learned that noticing patterns was dangerous. So every event remained an isolated event. One closed shop meant nothing. One assault meant nothing. Ten incidents meant ten unrelated incidents. Only a racist would connect dots. Then his daughter was sexually assaulted by a man who had recently arrived in France. Jean-Pierre was devastated. But almost immediately he began policing his own thoughts. The attacker was an individual. Of course. One must never generalise. The television explained that exploiting such crimes politically was irresponsible. A minister warned against “stigmatisation.” Jean-Pierre found himself nodding through tears. What had happened to his daughter was monstrous, but the truly frightening possibility, apparently, was that somebody somewhere might vote for the wrong party because of it. Nothing changed. His son’s school became worse. His daughter stopped going out alone. His wife wanted to move. The police were exhausted. The teachers were exhausted. The hospitals were exhausted. Jean-Pierre was exhausted. Yet every explanation he had been given required him to believe that each deterioration was temporary, accidental, exaggerated or caused by something entirely unrelated to the deterioration immediately beside it. And whenever somebody proposed that perhaps the country had made serious mistakes — about migration, authority, education, policing, integration, punishment or borders — Jean-Pierre knew the correct answer. “Careful. That sounds like the far right.” So he remained reasonable. He remained moderate. He remained informed. He remained completely incapable of drawing a conclusion from his own life. So at first, Jean-Pierre did not understand. And he still does not understand.

REVEALED: A think tank co-founded by Facebook’s founding president wants an entirely NEW visa category to repopulate struggling American communities with foreign workers. It’s called the HEARTLAND VISA. They’ve already mapped roughly 1,700 potentially eligible counties—home to 58 MILLION Americans. The Economic Innovation Group, co-founded by Sean Parker, wants at least 100,000 visas a year. The pitch is explicit: “In exchange for living in a Heartland Visa community, workers with sufficient earnings will gain permanent residency” American communities become the destination. Green cards become the incentive. The proposal targets places struggling with population decline, including rural communities and former industrial centers. Foreign workers would have to live in a participating area—but could work for an employer located elsewhere. The think tank also proposes replacing labor certification with an earnings test for the green-card pathway. That would remove the usual labor-market test from this proposed route to permanent residency. The idea has already reached Capitol Hill. Republican Senator Todd Young and then-Senator Joe Manchin introduced a version in December 2024. Supporters included AOL co-founder Steve Case, Americans for Prosperity and the Niskanen Center. County officials would decide whether their communities participate. EIG continued lobbying for the proposal in 2026. This is an organized push to turn population decline into a justification for a new immigration program.

Your kid needs 8 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars to become a resident doctor. High School → 4 years college → 4 years medical school → Residency Meanwhile, someone from India, Pakistan, or Sudan can finish a 5-year program after high school, come to US on H-1B/J-1 visa, and take the same residency. High School → 5 years medical school → Residency Why is it easier for them to become US doctors, and so much harder for our kids?

I appreciate that the Trump administration is earnestly trying to investigate H-1B fraud but the more research I do, the more dms I get, it just becomes painfully obvious that we are trying to empty the ocean with a shovel. I have literally thousands and thousands of tips that I've either already sent in or have on my list to send in. And I have BARELY scratched the surface of H-1B fraud. I haven't even started on F1 fraud, OPT fraud, O-1 fraud, it just goes on and on and on. The amount of fraud is in the millions and thousands more come in every day from every visa under the sun. There are 1.4 billion indians in india. Hundreds of millions of them want to come to America. They will do whatever it takes to scam the system to escape india and the system is so poorly set up that they will be allowed to do it. We just can't win this way. We need help. We need to turn off the fraud spigot and the only way to do that is if we totally ban all immigration from india indefinitely. It pains me to say this and I don't want to blackpill but the numbers are just too great for us to handle, anything other than a total ban on all indian immigration is just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
