If the Australian government moves forward with a law that lets it create sock puppet accounts that can influence online debate among its own voters, it would basically be operationalizing the plan proposed years ago by the husband of our last USAID chief.

Doctor: This is just a coincidence. Your child seems fine to me, and infantile seizures are nothing to worry about. He probably just has autism, which is not in any way related to the vaccine. The seizures are also not linked to the vaccine. I know the inserts say that both seizures and autism are linked, and common sense would dictate that a seizure right after a vaccine that resulted in neurological changes could all be related, but it's not. The inserts information is just them being cautious, for liability sake, even though they have legal immunity from liability, because the products are so safe they require federal shielding. Does all of that completely incoherent and inconsistent information make sense? Good.

BlackRock flagged Bitcoin miners as a risk factor in IBIT's 10-K.
The filing says lower block rewards "could result in less of an incentive for miners," which puts network security in question.
Every halving cuts the subsidy that pays for Bitcoin's security. The operators still running afterward are the ones whose power costs work at the smaller reward, so hashrate ends up wherever energy is cheap and reliable.
An IBIT share tracks the price of Bitcoin and adds nothing to the hashrate protecting it. A hosted miner adds hashrate and sends the Bitcoin it produces to a wallet its owner controls.
We run 4+ EH/s across 9 owned Iowa sites at 95%+ uptime, on power rates we locked in before the last halving.
BlackRock's lawyers are asking who keeps hashing when the reward shrinks again.
We've planned the business around that question since 2021.

The language surrounding health insurance is Orwellian.
It's called "insurance" but premiums don't adjust for your individual risk.
You have "coverage" that may or may not cover anything at all.
You have "preventive care" which is really a zero-price sales visit to get you hooked on meds.
It's a "benefit" you get from work but neither you nor your employer has a choice but to buy it.
There is a "co-pay" and "deductible" but means what you actually pay.
You get "wellness checkups" that are more likely to result in making you sicker.
Also, it is called "affordable" – the biggest joke of all.
