The entire corpus of Islamic scholarship agrees that Meryem or Mary was one of the greatest women who ever lived. May Allah SWT shower his blessings upon her and upon her amazing son 🥲

For those that don’t know — the black cloak that Messi is wearing is a Bisht—meaning ‘nobility’ or ‘dignity’. It has been worn in the Arab world for thousands of years. It is an honour, and marks him as the legend that he is!!

Masha'Allah, so happy that a headstone of Fatima Elizabeth Cates (1865–1900), probably the first woman to convert to Islam in Liverpool (in 1887) & treasurer of England's first mosque, has now been installed at Anfield Cemetery. She lived a life of sacrifice & struggle for Islam. – at Bradford, England
