A historic day for the UK-EU relationship.
The Gibraltar Treaty, signed by @SDoughtyMP and EU Commissioner @MarosSefcovic, closes an important negotiating chapter and delivers long-term certainty for Gibraltar’s people and economy.
A very special moment today.
Proud to sign our historic treaty on #Gibraltar with the EU’s @MarosSefcovic after working side-by-side with @GibraltarGov throughout the negotiations.
We were joined by Chief Minister @FabianPicardo & Foreign Minister @jmalbares and teams.

🇬🇧🤝🇪🇺 A new chapter for Gibraltar.
The signing of this agreement provides certainty for people and businesses, supports prosperity across the region, and protects Britain’s sovereignty and way of life.
Gibraltar remains an important part of the UK family.
