RuneFest 2025 was a huge turning point in my life. My anxiety had become so bad that I spent most of the event hiding in my hotel room, trying to build up the confidence to go outside. People were asking where I was and I completely crumbled. I was at one of the lowest points of my life. Since then, I decided to go fully sober and stop relying on shitty vices to make me feel confident. I started facing the things I’d spent years burying, went to therapy, lost 70lbs and worked hard on myself. Then came RuneFest 2026. The anxiety was still there, but something was different. I didn’t feel the need to hide or rely on anything to get through it. I met incredible people from all over the world, spent time with people I’ve known for years and, honestly, the amount of love and support I received was fucking overwhelming. For the first time in a long time, I felt seen. I’m still a work in progress and I have a long way to go, but I finally feel like I’m actually living my life instead of just trying to get through it. If you struggle with anxiety, ADHD or anything that makes you feel lost, please believe me when I say it can get better. You don’t need to rely on shitty vices to feel confident. They’re a band-aid over something that needs addressing. If you’re not okay, get help. I wish I had done it sooner. A lot of you have seen me at my lowest. Now it’s time to ride the highs. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and believed in me over the years. I genuinely wouldn’t be here without you. And thank you to Jagex and everyone who worked on RuneFest. It was the best one I’ve ever been to. 2025 broke me. 2026 showed me I could put myself back together.
