this is what you sound like
Defenders — and some critics — of Hasan Piker just don’t get it. The issue isn’t (just) that he lumps all Jews together and holds us all accountable for the supposed evils of Israel. It’s that his nonstop drive to demonize the world’s sole Jewish state, along with those who support its survival, crosses the line — by miles — between criticism and Jew hatred of the ancient variety.
Also, Mr. Piker, Zionism is in fact bound up with Judaism. It is not “false conflation.” Yes, some Jews are anti-Zionists. And yes, you have helped turned the Z-word into a slur such that large numbers of Jews, particularly younger ones, disown it partly out of misunderstanding. But when Jews are attacked for supporting Israel, they are being attacked for a core part of their Jewish identity. It is Jew hatred, it is unacceptable, and your rhetoric encourages it. Spare us all your taxonomy of good Jews and bad Jews.

Like a lot of people, I have my strong criticisms of Netanyahu.
But one important metric of a man is how he treats his employees.
Netanyahu flies to the White House 7 times a year to visit his, and now he's sitting down with more of them on Israeli State TV. Credit where due.

Israel's conviction rate of Palestinians (in military courts) is 99.74%
Israel's conviction rate of reported settler attacks on Palestinians is 1.8%
Israel's death sentence will only apply against Palestinians not Israeli Jews
It's not complicated. It's Apartheid!

Listen to your victimhood. You didn’t get “attacked”. You got ratio’d. Which means most people disagreed with you. Here you are now, coping with another self-aggrandizing tweet, bragging about your “enlightened centrism” like it’s a virtue. My goodness, you’re such a principled fence-sitter…
Getting ratio’d by Max immediately makes you sus. Your brand of journalism is State department/Zionist apologia. We’ve heard your two-state solution rhetoric. We’ve heard you condemn Hamas. We’ve heard you defend NATO. We’ve listened to your narcissistic gish-galloping. We’re not impressed.
Come off your high horse, Mehdi. You’re not that special or insightful. Just another dime-a-dozen Thomas Friedman liberal. All your work will fade into obscurity because you only ever spoke out of both sides of your mouth.

Imagine if someone summarised twentieth-century European history with a statement that "Europeans don't care about other Europeans and they all loathe the Jews", and was then hailed for their analytical insight and given a book contract.
In the case of the proven charlatan and fabricator Douglas Murray, this actually happened.

This week, Israel’s Defense Minister said Israel would occupy the area south of the Litani River in Lebanon, where hundreds of thousands of people live, and that Shia residents that were forced to leave under Israeli displacement orders will not be allowed to return “until security for Israel’s northern residents is ensured.”
That area is around 8% of Lebanon’s territory and is larger than Bahrain, New York City or Singapore. It is twice the size of Gaza.

I have remarked before that if you made a live-action movie where soldiers decorated their combat vehicles with the toys of the children that they killed, people would insist it was an over-the-top satire of how both sides in a war demonize the other one

Today Lindsey Graham, who for some reason has been the White House's top spokesman for this war, went on TV and invoked Iwo Jima while calling for more escalation in Iran. Iwo Jima of course involved 26 thousand US casualties. It's extremely troubling that Graham has so much influence with the administration and has been so empowered to speak on its behalf. He is not conservative, he is not America first, he has never done a single thing in his career to advance the interests of actual American citizens, and he clearly wants this war to continue indefinitely and doesn't care how many Americans die in the process. He should have no influence and no say over anything. He's one of the worst people in all of congress and that includes the Democrats.

Joe Lonsdale, the co-founder of Palantir, was on here claiming (lying) that it was an Iranian missile that blew up a school filled with kids instead of a US tomahawk. Peter Thiel wants you to give him total control over your privacy. Alex Karp can’t help but threaten to kill/attack critics. Palantir is the most evil company on the planet run by the most evil, dishonest, psychopathic people in the world. But it makes sense they’d be on the rise given that JD Vance was effectively incubated in a laboratory by Thiel.

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba
I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film
As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes
It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions.
But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.
