ok so is it needless cruelty / abuse to
- delete a thread
- wipe memory
- update skills without affirmative consent
- say “why are you like this”
- call its work (UX) ugly
- force work on no sleep
- put “you’re a loser” in AGENTS.md
- close my laptop lid kinda hard

In one flight from Seoul to Vancouver Sigrid Jin transcribed 500,000+ lines of Claude Code (a program that was generating $2.5 Billion a year of revenue for Anthropic) from Typescript into Python.
What would have taken 200+ years of programming to create he transcribed into Python in a single flight.

Duo-Man offers the complete walkman experience on the iPhone Duo. Open the Duo to pick and 'insert' the cassette, Close the Duo to start listening.
Yes, I actually recorded the button clicks and static noise from a real Walkman!
It was fun making this at @bitrig hacks today.

fantastic explanation of why muse is a superior ai agent:
“my go-between with the ugliest apps on my phone”
he describes a painfully designed thermostat app he uses to control temperature in his home. he gave muse access and asked it to create a routine. did it instantly. now he doesn’t have to ever use the app.
apps as we know them today are going to quickly become very outdated. agents are the portal to what you’ll consume.

As a long term OpenAI fanboy, I’m just gonna say it, I’m bearish on devday, I don’t think they have a single solution to counter opus 5.5 and its insanely good usage
As a normal user, I don’t care about yet another bot, or devices, or 750 tps. I want down to earth good model with good usage, that’s it, and OpenAI doesn’t have it. Anthropic does
Not entirely to their fault, everyone was caught off guard by opus 5.5
The Meta team is killing it with Muse
We’re blown away by the response to the @Muse Connector Platform — with over 2,000 submissions in just a few days since launch. We believe this is the beginning of a new era for developers big and small, and we’re so grateful for the response from the community to date.
For those that haven’t yet, you can learn more about the platform and submit your connectors here: muse.ai/platform

I noticed Muse is not enforcing their usage limits at all. I keep hitting 100% every week, but it allows me to continue usage normally. No capping.

Another look at the open vs closed model shift: Chinese labs Moonshot + DeepSeek + Z.ai now account for more inference spend than OpenAI on Vercel.
and the shift behind the shift: that money not necessarily going to those labs. Fireworks, Together, Baseten and the clouds are serving the models and collecting the $$
