THE FINALS Scotty will say your name in Season 12
With Dynamic Commentary, Scotty can call out Contestants by name when they do something worth highlighting
This is a first in any FPS
Honestly, I've wanted this since Season 1
New Light gadget: Translocator
You can mark any object and swap positions with it if in range
For example, you can teleport an enemy turret out of a room it's blocking, or place breach charges on an oil barrel, swap the barrel into the enemy position, and trigger the charges

As you all know, we’re huge THE FINALS fans too
I’ve put thousands of hours into that game and still play it every day
After what we built for ARC Raiders, it felt right to do the same for THE FINALS
So with the game’s biggest season coming up, we’re launching:
The Contestant, a community hub for THE FINALS
Just like ARC Radar, you can follow it on X at @ContestantGG
And the website is Contestant.GG, which is similar to ARC Radar. It currently serves as a foundation for us to build cool stuff for you guys

ARC Radar is evolving
From day one of the ARC Radar X account, our goal has always been to unite the ARC Raiders community, and that remains unchanged
But simply using X isn’t enough; we can’t provide the tools or other things you want to enjoy here
Today we are finally announcing our website ARCRadar.com. Our plan for the site is to provide:
- Easy to read news & patch notes for ARC Raiders
- Walkthroughs
- Guides
- Tools
- Wiki
- Submissions for clips/screenshots (to get featured on our community hubs)
- Game events
All of these will take time to fill out and get right, but we have to start somewhere. For now you can view news, game events, a partially completed wiki, and submit clips
We also have some tools in development for the community, which we will release later next week
Please keep suggestions coming; we want to build tools useful for the community, so let us know what you’d like to see. And oh, it’s all free!
It's good to note that nothing will change about how we post here; it will be the same, but better

THE FINALS is getting a new mode!
Solo Showdown is a new tournament mode with 12 solo players competing in multiple mini modes across three ~5 minute rounds
It includes Heavy Hitters and Blast Off!, plus new mini modes:
• Winch Wars: only a winch claw and enhanced kick; knock players into The Void on Nozomi Citadel
• Turbo Tussle: high speed deathmatch on Galaxy Estates' Speed Tunnel
• Slam-A-Rama: Jump Pads and a Charge 'N' Slam that one shots enemies
• Sniper Standoff: Lights with Snipers on Relay Grid (Orbital Hitters arena)
• Boom Brawl: fight with Swords; eliminated players drop a delayed bomb
• One And Gunned: BFR Titan with limited bullets; gain one bullet per elimination
Earn the most cash across rounds. Lowest cash players are eliminated; while the rest advance
Embark plans to add more modes to Solo Showdown
Even the older THE FINALS maps have been updated a lot in Season 12
You can now break the overpass bridge in Monaco
Thermal Vision has been reworked into the True Vision specialization
Instead of the old black and white, it now clearly displays the environment and team colors
THE FINALS new gadget: Mimic Device lets you temporarily disguise as a prop
While active you gain the prop's effects, so teammates can launch you if you turn into a red canister
Also if you get reshaped while disguised you'll explode
