What is the cost of keeping AI and enterprise data separated?
For organizations interviewed by Futurum Research that recently migrated to BigQuery from other cloud data platforms, respondents reported an average 21% reduction in TCO and 32% decrease in operational overhead within the first few quarters.

An OAuth token taken from a former CrowdSec employee's laptop still had permission to read the company's private repositories, and by the time GitHub access was revoked three days later, roughly 170 private repos had already been dumped.
The theft went undetected until the source code surfaced on a dark web marketplace in September, and the CEO's own conclusion is that the company was very close to clean.

When Huawei first open sourced Karmada in 2021, its ability to control multiple Kubernetes clusters across different environments was primarily used for multi-region resilience and disaster recovery. Now it is being increasingly used for AI inferencing. @ContainerJrnl cloudnativenow.com/features/…
CloudBolt has added the ability to optimize GPU consumption at the individual Kubernetes workload level, since NVIDIA's DCGM tool only shows utilization per physical device and can only be invoked one node at a time with no history to look back on.
IT teams can't manage GPU spend they can't attribute to a workload, and with utilization rates often in the single digits, that attribution is the prerequisite for chargeback, capacity planning and deciding which AI projects earn more hardware.

Karmada has graduated from the CNCF's technology program, giving the federated control plane for multiple Kubernetes clusters a stamp of approval for production use just in time for the AI inferencing work it needs to support.
The project turns multiple clusters into a coordinated fleet with centralized placement, failover and multi-cluster autoscaling, and organizations like Bloomberg and Alibaba Cloud already run on it.

groundcover has acquired Wand's Kubernetes optimization platform to close the gap between observability and infrastructure automation, letting the platform continuously adjust CPU and memory across a live cluster instead of guessing at requests before an application is deployed.
The timing matters because GPU utilization in servers often sits in the single digits while processor, memory and server shortages push infrastructure costs up, and the first step toward letting any IT administrator manage a fleet of clusters is relying more on automation augmented by AI.
