George recently in FA Youth Cup, first game in age group football since March. #KHFC

The danger in talent ID?
We measure who is ahead today
and call it potential for tomorrow.
Bigger. Faster. Stronger. Earlier maturing.
Sometimes we’re not predicting the future at all.
We’re simply selecting the present.

Somewhere behind the best football memories is a coach who let them play ⚽️
Freedom and a smile on his face were Morgan Rogers' highlights.

A proud night watching both boys play on Aggborough together.
Two years ago wasn’t sure George would play football again due to health and last night he was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch 🔥⚽️
I think this will turn out to be an extremely intelligent signing - raised by Pep he will fit Unai way 🙏
🚨🟣🔵 Aston Villa have reached a verbal agreement to sign Taylor Harwood Bellis from Southampton, here we go!
#AVFC closed the verbal agreement for £25m plus £5m add-ons. Green light from the player.
Documents yet to be exchanged but verbal agreement done.
A story to show young players that getting released doesn’t mean the end it’s just an opinion! Be really interesting to know the journey of the likely 8-14 players Blackpool thought were ‘better’ I’d be surprised if any are at 20 in a better position.
Danny Ormerod missed out at Blackpool as a scholar.
He’s on the bench for Peterborough United at Blackpool, days after a £600k move into the Football League.
Story from March.

Went to my first Villa game 40+ years ago and head and shoulders the best GK we’ve had. Footballers move on he gave us 7 years and like the others that left leaves a big legacy
📲 Emi Martínez on Instagram:
“Seven years ago, I arrived at Aston Villa with a dream. Today I say goodbye with a heart full of memories, gratitude & pride. This club became so much more than just a place where I played football. It became my home. From my first day to the unforgettable nights, the victories, the difficult moments & everything in between, I gave everything I had for this badge. But what I will carry with me goes far beyond football. The friendships I made during these seven years, the people I met & the moments we shared together will stay with me forever. Some of those people became more than teammates & colleagues, they became my family. To my teammates, coaches, staff &, most importantly, the Villa fans — thank you for believing in me, supporting me & making these seven years so special. I leave with incredible memories, lifelong friendships & a love for this club that will never leave me. Thank you, Aston Villa. Thank you, Villans. Once a Villan, always a Villan.” 💜
THB would be a very good signing ✍️ 🙏
New: #AVFC exploring a deal to sign Jean-Clair Todibo from West Ham United. Villa pivoted after Joel Ordonez move broke down - concerns over current injury & recovery timeframe. Villa still apart on valuation with #SaintsFC for Taylor Harwood-Bellis - Todibo viewed as an alternative option.

Excellent signing this would be 🙏
🚨 Aston Villa make offer to sign Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Southampton. Bid £18m + add-ons; not at level needed for #SaintsFC to consider 24yo defender’s sale. #AVFC keen on England int’l among options to replace Ezri Konsa. W/ @J_Tanswell @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7527007…
Makes me laugh when clubs sign players (at all levels) and in the announcement make a big deal about their height as if that makes them any good 🤣 never seen one say 5ft 7 though 🤣
So sad 😢 the fires in Stourbridge thoughts with all those whose homes have been destroyed. It start 0.5 miles from me and we are in with windows shut smoke is horrible 😩

Archie Thurston & George Dalton scored our first goals of the season yesterday at Dudley, securing a historic first ever @EmiratesFACup win.

Dalton also made an assist to round off a memorable full debut for the Saltmen!
