The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. “I think we should not have done it. There were a lot of mistakes that were made.”
Thiel made the comments last week during a private lecture in Nashville.
He also raised the question no one in the GOP wants to answer <2 weeks before the midterms:
“Maybe we don’t have the hard power. Maybe we’re going to lose the soft power war.”
Thiel co-founded PayPal and Palantir, donated $1.25 million to Trump’s 2016 campaign, was a key WH advisor during Term I, and poured millions into JD Vance’s Senate primary that put him on the path to VP.
His data company Palantir is actively assisting Trump’s deportation operations today.
He still supports Trump. But his assessment of the Iran war is damning.
When a donor this close starts saying “we should not have done it,” you can bet the White House is listening.

The patient has died.
It was previously believed to only affect animals.

French authorities say there is currently no evidence of widespread human transmission and no identified risk to the general population.

AIPAC leadership confirms in a letter to members that it is ending official candidate endorsements, direct PAC contributions, and earmarking following growing public backlash.
Instead, it will organize individual donations and use new fundraising tools to support its preferred candidates, while its affiliated super PAC continues operating.
The money isn't disappearing. They're changing how it flows.

AIPAC says it will stop endorsing candidates and stop routing money to them directly, shifting to individual donors instead:
"We must build a more strategic, consequential, and nimble political operation."
The timing says otherwise. This summer, 104 House members voted to end military aid to Israel, endorsed lawmakers started returning AIPAC money, and its name became an attack ad in primaries.
Voters are tired of Gaza, tired of an Iran war, and tired of commentators branding critics antisemites... and when the most powerful lobby in Washington goes undercover two weeks before the midterms, that fatigue has officially won.

It would be a huge miscalculation to assume that Iran will just stand idle and watch the United States and Israel target its infrastructure and attempt to topple its political establishment. Both Washington and Tel Aviv are driven by electoral and political motives, not genuine strategic calculation: Israelis vote in six days, Americans in thirteen.
Iran will deploy all its means to make any attack prohibitively costly. A third wave of war would not stay contained. Power grids, desalination plants, refineries and ports across the region would burn. Tens of millions would be left without water or electricity, and a massive wave of refugees would move from Arab countries towards Europe. Hormuz would close completely, oil would spike, and the global economy would tip into recession. Israel's economy, already bled by mobilisation and missile fire, would not survive a prolonged war of attrition. And Trump would be trapped in a crisis that consumes the rest of his presidency and leaves a wreck for his successors.
A state facing an existential threat knows no boundaries. Even the ICJ's 1996 Nuclear Weapons Advisory Opinion affirmed "the fundamental right of every State to survival." The Court also could not declare even the most extreme means unlawful where "the very survival of a State would be at stake."

Israel and the United States will almost certainly attack Iran once again.
This will mark the final chapter of this war.
Through this attack, Trump and Netanyahu will fully carry out the threats they have made over the past few months—specifically, they will destroy Iran’s energy and oil infrastructure.
This is intended to inflict massive economic and social damage on the country, leaving millions of Iranians without electricity and rendering Iran unable to export oil.
Following this, Trump will declare victory and withdraw from the Strait of Hormuz—a presence that is currently causing him enormous financial losses.
Russia and China will, of course, reconstruct the Iranian infrastructure in record time, despite Trump’s claims that it would take ten years. It took China 20 years to build up the entire nation, lift 800 million people out of extreme poverty, and increase its GDP from $1 trillion to $16 trillion; Iran’s energy infrastructure will be sorted out in a maximum of 2 years.
In the meantime, Iran will stockpile vast quantities of weapons and ammunition, while making significant advancements in military equipment, communications, and logistics.
Within a maximum of five years, the country will have become such a formidable military power that the Gulf states and other Israel-aligned states will have no choice but to cooperate.
The noose around Israel will tighten significantly.

Government websites in the Netherlands and Finland were taken offline after reports that hackers were exploiting critical flaws in PHP, a programming language used across the web.
Cybersecurity agencies in Europe, the UK, and Australia urged operators to patch vulnerable systems or take sites offline. Even the Dutch cybersecurity agency pulled its own website as a precaution.
