Postgame thoughts from AF-UNLV with a beer in my hand...Even when you know what's coming from the Falcons it's hard to stop them. Air Force has attempted 4 passes in 2 games. And yet no one has slowed them down.... I told Troy Calhoun at practice one day in August how much I liked his offensive line. They are known as "Diesel" and they are a machine. 2 straight games where 2 players go for more than 100 yards rushing and 4 yards away from a 3rd player going for 100 plus. 869 yards rushing in 2 games... ..Roger Jones Jr has really played well at safety the last several games. Had 7 tackles today....The Falcons stopped UNLV on a 4th and 1 at the Air Force 16 on the first drive of the game. The Falcons converted that into field goal. 10 point swing right there...3rd quarter-AF gets the ball to start the quarter, goes 13 plays, 75 yards and scores on a Rocco Conti run, and ran 7:32 off the clock to retake the lead, and shorten the game....The Falcons may have the best inside linebackers in college football with Blake Fletcher and Dallas Dailey. They combined for 19 tackles today....Final thought-biggest CONFERENCE WIN in a long long time. In the hunt, but a lotta football still to play.
