Now that we've learned that our idiot President mistook which Dana White was who Susie Wiles recommended for Press Secretary AND did it publicly with his usual bluster and overreach, he can't very well offer the position to the correct, more qualified Dana White, because to do so, exposes and confirms his idiocy.
This "causal progression of idiocy" - which happens constantly on matters large and small - is a true phenomenon of Trump 2.0. It can only happen when an aberrant pathology is allowed to amass so much power and yet is left so unchecked.
It's why this era will be the subject of Case Studies in graduate level psychology courses for the next century.
